For the past 7-8 years I only bought jeans (or t-shirt and shirt) online via Hollister. Never paid above 30$ and their jeans are great!

You wind up rocking the 'Dad Jeans' look....

That's because dad bought the wrong jeans. Noone should wear jeans like that. Don't buy jeans like that and you'll be good. I buy most of my jeans from The Bay or Winners/Marshalls.

I buy them at costco, good deals. Even their kirkland brand fits me very well they feel like wranglers.

If you're thinking of AG, then you are probably looking for a higher end designer jean. If that's the case, the best fitting jeans I have ever worn and the only brand I will buy is a brand called Denham. They are from the Netherlands and very hard to find in Canada but you can order online. The Bay used to carry them at their Yorkdale store but no longer. I own about 8 pairs of these and are so comfortable and fit perfectly.

Although you can buy online, they don't ship to Canada so I went as far as getting a U.S. postal address so I can get them. I was also lucky that my son went to Amsterdam last summer and I had him go to their flagship store and get me a couple more pairs.

Haven’t paid more than $15 for jeans in years, Value Village has a good selection of quality ones.
I put them in the dryer first in case of bedbugs.

I have bought so many pairs of jeans at thrift store ms for $2 to $3 and many that still have the tags attached. And on top of that, there is no sales tax unless you buy at VV, which by the way, does not compare to a few of the thrift stores I regularly visit, in terms of price, quality and condition. Buying a new pair of jean for less than the sales tax you would pay at a regular store is amazing.

Denhams are great especially if you have thick thighs

Last time I bought jeans a few months ago was in Buffalo.
Mid week for two days as a bit of a post Covid stay near home days mini vacation.

We tooted around to lots of thrift stores.
Salvo's ( Salvation Army) in the north end had a special on.
I ended up with three pair of nearly new Levis and Wranglers for a total of $20USD.

I have enough I actually have some deliberately bought one size too large.
So I can wear them over fleece underwear when I have on the road inspection trips that happen in the winter and I will be away from the car for a lot of the day.
They do a great job cutting the wind on the cold days with polar fleece as an under layer.

Goodwill boutique in Newmarket. Second Chances in Uxbridge. Care and Share in a Stouffville. The latter two have weekly specials and the finds there are amazing finds if you get lucky. Goodwill also has 25% to 50% off sales once in awhile. These are all smaller than VV and while you pay sales tax at VV, there is none at these three.

This is my goto since Lucky Brand went tits up: https://duer.ca/. On Queen St W.

Duer incorporates stretchy fabric in their denim. Makes for very comfortable jeans - especially if you’re packing.;)

Have a look at the Joseph Aboud jeans at Moore's.
You can dress them up or dress them down and they are very comfortable.

Whatever brand you get, get the stretch material, they very comfortable.

daughter gave me an expensive name brand that all the kids are into but they weren’t comfortable at all.

I wear AG almost exclusively. Great quality dressy jeans and am in my 50s. That said, I have cheaper Levis jeans for day to day or for chores, but splurge on AG or similar for those dressier denims. Great with the right sports coat and shoes. A dark blue and a black pair and you are all set. Feel better and look great (and the ladies know the difference/can see it).
I can vouch for AG jeans too. They are pricey (I’ve always got them on sale when I’ve bought them). They look great and are extremely comfortable with just the right amount of stretch (I hate jeans that are so stretchy they feel like Lycra and get all stretched out after a day of wearing). Worth a bit of a premium if you have the budget.
