I've never met a Taylor Swift fan in my life.

They moved there to live in a vibrant and busy downtown. If they were looking for the quiet life they are stupid. It's the 3rd largest city in North America now. Cities grow, change and people have to adapt.
Nothing to Phil C's point earlier about population density, mixed with the added Metrolinx that wasn't there until 15 years later, or the comparison of the Blue Jays and Taylor Swift global popularity.
Just "we're number #1" lol

Was it ranked the same in the 90s?

Is every person who lives in the area going to be on the street? Will any of them be driving? Did the Dome drastically increase its capacity beyond what numerous events in the past allowed?

My bet is locals are used to it, and just doesn't affect them day to day. The immediate area is clear of construction. Union Station is clear and built. We now have UBER. Many swifties are staying at hotels.

Let me know if the 11 year olds start overturning cars and setting things on fire.

Numbers don’t lie.
Some don’t know that. 🤣

Don’t tell me what to do.
I didn't "tell" you anything. It was a friendly suggestion as to a choice you could make. Obviously one you don't have to make.

Of course it means I get to laugh at you a bit more, so that's good too!

taylor has been writting most of her song and music since she was 12. She is an amazing artist.

she wrote songs for many others including miley cyrus. She was the original authof huge hit 'this is what you came for' of Rihanna (but calvin harris finalized and produced it).

Taylor is a giant artist. Maybe not your cup of tea, like for myself, but we need to recognize her unique talent.
she is a good entertainer and her lyrics speak to millions of young women, but c'mon, all almost her songs are the same 4 chords again and again! I salute her success but she is no musical genius.

i agree with you yet at least she writes her own songs and music. Never wrote she was genius just very talented and we should recognize that.

a genius for me is Prince, Dylan, McCartney or from quebec Jean Leloup or Daniel Belanger.

I'll give this girl credit. She's been touring since March of 2023, and Eras tour wont end until next month. So basically she's been touring for 1 year and 8 months straight, with a few weeks breaks in between. That takes a lot of stamina.

She stands to make over $1 billion gross revenue from the whole thing (y)

I don't care for the music but she's a smart girl and cute. I would definitely eat her pussy.

I keep saying I think it's funny that after she worked with a couple indie artists, it was OK to like her all of a sudden.

It has nothing to do with overturning cars and everything to do with the redirection of traffic and the constant influx of people over the span of 7 days. When it's generating $280+ million, that isn't just having people come in and out, that's people staying in the city as well, added on with the redirection of traffic and inconveniencing of locals. A friend of mine lives just south of the Rogers Centre and she text me tonight saying what a pain it has been and it's only been two days, her literal words "Next Thursday can't come fast enough".

We got labeled as having the worst traffic in North America last year, now add this week long concert to the mix. Tell me how this is the same as 1990s Blue Jays SkyDome era again? lol
You're being intentionally dishonest that's all. Standing on a hill thinking 90s era Blue Jays + Toronto's population is the same as this week long concert + a city with the worst traffic in North America and it's population density.
Toronto population - 1992, 3.9 million
Toronto population - 2024, 6.4 million
"errr, it's the same" 😂
