You need an alarm clock? It was very fortunate as far as I'm concerned. I forgot to set my alarm clock.
I haven't needed an alarm clock in 20 years.

I do everything 100%- including sleeping. You need an alarm clock?

Sure, for you, but for many, that's simply not feasible.Easy solution: turn your phone off when you go to sleep.
We're in the same boat. ^^^For you. Some of us need to have our phones close for emergencies of family we care for.
Some have to be on-call.
Lol love this. I think we all get that finding missing kids is incredibly important, but they don't even try to geotarget this stuff. I know it's POSSIBLE to get from Ottawa to Toronto in 4/5 hours, but seriously unlikely. It's a dumb and disruptive system.
I had to re-watch this video to make myself feel better about the amber alert.
The idiocy of this comment was lost on you?To all you whining about being woken up at 4 am by an Amber Alert: isn't it worth it to help a child being abducted and maybe murdered? I think it is. It's not like it happens every week.
I get that selfish fucks care more about their beauty sleep than a child's life. The idiocy of this comment was lost on you?
HOW is waking someone up at 4AM in any way going to "help" find a missing child
It is stupid and annoying for no real purpose
Child disappeared at (acc to media) 11:15PM
So instead of sending a localized alert (eg a midnight buzz to ONLY people in Ottawa area)
Keystone cops wait 5 hours later (when noone is outside and vast majority of province is asleep)
THEN send the alert (twice of course, because people in province need an english and french alert)
I get the strawman does not want to back up his argument lolI get that selfish fucks care more about their beauty sleep than a child's life.
There are about 14 million people in Ontario. They all lose 1 hour sleep because they were woken up by the Amber Alert, on the chance that maybe 1 person has info that could lead to the rescue of an abducted child. Typically, if an abductee is not found within 48 hours, they will not be found alive. So, time is crucial. They can't wait until 10 AM when most people are awake. One child's life is worth more than 14 million hours of lost sleep. I can't explain it any simpler than that. The idiocy of this comment was lost on you?

That is the equivalent of 7000 people years of work assuming the 40 hours X 50 weeks. One child's life is worth more than 14 million hours of lost sleep. I can't explain it any simpler than that.
And did you get up get dressed go outside and look around your neighborhood for her? I’m guessing you did not. did you spot her in your bedroom? and did any of the 14 million people in Ontario spot her in their bedrooms? There are about 14 million people in Ontario. I believe that a human life is priceless. That is the equivalent of 7000 people years of work assuming the 40 hours X 50 weeks.
Even at 14 bucks an hour that is almost 200 million dollars
No, no it's not.
Safe and sound, no details though. Maybe the real story is going to be really embarrassing for somebody...Did they find her ?
