What is pathetic about people like frankfrauder is pretty much everyone he argues with supports the idea of a negotiated two state peace. It just shows his motivation has nothing to do with the Palestinian people but simply making sure Israelis suffer.
p.s. Last poll I saw of Palestinian refugees and their descendants said that less than 10% of them would want to become Israelis. The rest wanted compensation and a chance to settle either in the land of their birth (Lebanon, Jordan, Syria), a Palestinian state, or an agreeable third country. But Groggy doesn't care about what they actually want.
Doesn't matter who was ancestral where. What matters is that Protestants live in Ireland now while significant Jewish and Arab population live in the former Mandate. Wanting to force Protestants out of Ireland is no different from Hamas wanting to force Jews out of Palestine.

I agree that the settlements should have stopped years ago and that they are a problem. What should the Palestinians do? Come to the table and moderate their demands. Regardless of the merits or fairness or equity or anything else, clinging to demands which will NEVER be acceptable will simply guarantee that nothing changes. sad perhaps but undeniably true. Try and imagine what Israel and the West bank would look like today if Arafat had accepted the proposals in 2000.
