The PM Justin thinks Toronto is too safe.
He's planning on bringing in 250 'White Hats" to T.O. because its not been violent enough for us law abiding citizens.
What we need disaster relief workers from another country here blows me away.
As asylum seekers, the first safe country which would be Jordan is supposed to give them asylum. Why arent other Muslim states taking in their own kind?

Not to worry. Our illustrious City Council, led by the unflappable Mayor discovered a solution. After all day of hard discussion, they reached a failure proof solution. They'll go after the legal sellers and owners. Next week, they'll solve all our problems by declaring the 416 a murder free zone.
Toronto is only going to get worse.
Toronto will continue to be the target of violence via gangs, via terrorism, via over crowding and that will just cause more issues as well. Canada is so multicultural and we are so proud. Never made any sense to me honestly. You have all these cultures, races, etc. All saying we have rights, you have to respect us, but then everyone crowds together in their little towns of Toronto. Greektown, Chinatown, neighbourhoods with predominantly one type of people. Jews in one area, Muslims in a another, blacks in another. So we are all segregated by choice by yet want everyone to kumbaya it too???? Come on. No one it doesn't work and barely anything gets done. Too many fighting for their one upping on the next guy of the different "culture/races" up the street. Stupidity really. Either let's mix or let's not. This faking it is not going to cut it anymore.

Most people will take the easy road. If you want to achieve something against the grain, u gotta push things from the top.
But how many of us will tolerate more government?
I came from a place where, one person got shot over a game of basketball, someone got shot over parking lot dispute, someone got shot over traffic dispute, one got stabbed because someone didn't like the way he stared...this was the norm I saw on the news everyday I wake up...so yeah. I wouldn't trade where I am now for where I came from.

This is a very relative and subjective question to answer as is the question are things getting better or worse. Certainly events that happen in other international cities are now occurring in Toronto. Toronto strives to be a "world class " city but for positive reasons but the good comes with the bad.

Sadly education these days does not guarantee the graduate a full time job anymore. Many jobs are pt with little or no benefits. Many young adults are working 2,3 jobs to stay afloat with loan payments,rent,bills etc.
Education never guaranteed a job, especially most of what is taught at university unless the university training is towards a licenced profession. The trades were a better guarantee of employment, some still are.
Toronto is one of the safest places in the world.

Yes, Stockholm, Sweden.... think religion really fucks things up. Religion does not have much of a footprint.
