Is tipping agency SPs common practice?

I tipped probably 98% of the time with the only time I didn’t tip occurring when I paid before the session started. Nothing big but at times I also brought food or something else and this was paid back to me with time, sometimes with value of “time” being 50 to 200 times the value of the tip or gift.

I remember one story where an SP bought gifts for some of her clients and one guy was offended with the gift he received and told her he didn’t want it. The gift was worth hundreds of dollars but in his mind he was not “special” since she gave others gifts as well. This was around Christmas time and she opened her closet showing me all the gifts she received from clients. She didn’t like some of them and gave them to her friends.
Strange that adults act and behave like 5 year old kids. Does todays behaviour surprise anyone ?

That's the rub with some agency escorts and a whole lot of MPAs. Once behind closed door, some of what was assumed to be part of the package becomes "xtras" with specific tips required. Always means no repeat as far as I am concerned...
HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Rub.....

don't see how a tip would lead to 50 to 200 times the value of said tip.

Call me cheap, but generally I don't tip.
1.5 hour drive to Toronto, plus parking. Rates have been going up so fair enough I figure.
I have tipped, and if I don't have exact cash I pay the extra... I just don't have the means to give anymore, or I would.
So depends on your financial position I suppose.
And like Sonic, I'm usually out the door early, well ahead of my time limit, which I find to be courteous and almost similar to a tip.

Tipping is also nice but isn't something that would be expected

If your like me sometimes I completely don't pay attention/notice the tip especially when ppl pay at the beginning

If you pay at the end then yes I notice and will say my thank yous

Side note I work a civie job within the tourism industry and let me tell you I'm not allowed to accept tips but I'm also grateful for those who have tipped me anywhere from 20-100$ because of my friendly services. It's made me smile and I constantly say thank you and normally try and refuse it but when you make 15.55 an hour on the bottom of the pay schedule which Is for federal employees it's crap

Same with my job. I'm not allowed to accept tips, gifts, Maple Leaf tickets and/or sexual favours. Invitations to the occasional free lunch from a client is allowed but must be reported. I am allowed to attend a Maple Leaf game if accompanied by the client and my boss.

In the U.S. American IRS agents are not allowed to accept anything from taxpayers, not even a free lunch. We are also advised to never offer anything to IRS agents.

I usually tip my regulars. They see they are happy the girl makes $150 an hour? I know she complains about her make up or hair some shit. But they don’t get medical .. I remember one of my regulars was complaining that a girl she worked with went to the dentist for $2000.

i also don’t go with the “high maintaince” girls with their nails changing each day or them driving bmws. It’s easy to spot who is humbled or not.

same goes to restaurants I tip when the server tries and checks up but other than that she’s doing her job. So with new girls? I don’t, if I like them and see them again I do

To answer any questions I don't work often as an sp due to the hectic work schedule given by my civie airline job

Ppl just have slipped the money into my pocket simply because they appreciated my honesty and updating them regarding their flight status etc

Do you have regular face to face meetings with the IRS ? So how do you offer or accept gifts, lunch etc ?

Wow, goes to show that sometimes gifst are not apprecaitd, and a waste for everyone.
I think thats why its important to ask the sp beforehand what she might like as a gift or if she has a wishlist if your thinking of bringing a gift to the session so it doesnt go to waste.

Based on reports from and conversations with our staff in the U.S. Yes, our company have employees in our U.S. office who interact with IRS agents and they tell us stories about IRS agents.

"I don't work often as an sp due to the hectic work schedule given by my civie airline job"

Just a bit of advice for SP's who also hold a civie job. Check your company's policy on accepting tips, gifts, Maple Leaf tickets, etc. Some (many?) civie companies and government departments have strict policies on this issue.

Example from the U.K.
"Should you accept gifts from clients and suppliers?
Every worker should find out his or her employers attitude to accepting gifts from clients and suppliers. Its unwise to assume that accepting a gift is a normal part of the relationship with a client. The recipient can be open to charges of corruption and bribery, no matter how absurd this may seem. Most organisations recognise this problem."

I guess giving $20 to an sp making $280 is really an insult. I always thought it would be appreciated because of the gesture. 20% of $280 = $56. So I guess if you want your tip to be appreciated, it needs to be $50 and up.
Yes, tip $50 for a good time and nothing for regular experience. And treat these $50 as your way to say "thank you" to the SP, not as investment in the future. $20 tip may be OK for an MP (above the agreed=upon "tip") if she was really good. I always tip after the session, not before. But, unfortunately, in the last 5 years I tip less often (and not because I become cheap)...

See her but don't tip unless the service is worth tipping. If she's asking for it, then don't give it and find someone new.
