If we look at the latest poll Canada is 33% Liberal 28% Conservative and 27% NDP

If we look at the how do we usually vote thread and look at the major parties terbites identify as
46% Conservative 23% Liberal and 30% NDP ( Greens tossed as a protest vote)

Exactly what one would expect when oversampling males as opposed to females.

That is well within the margin of error given the tiny samples on terb.

Useless poll. My impression, from reading the posts and the general tone of the board, I'm comfortable saying that TERB is more liberal than Canada.

The current numbers in Lovehobby's poll (as of this writing) put support for the Conservatives at pretty much the same level of support as the national average (32% on TERB vs. 33% in national poll).

What's possibly more interesting is the small number of supporters for the Liberals.

I suspect all this may tell us is that contributors to the political forum tend to be more firmly on the right or the left than many Canadians (who aren't necessarily all that political). Or it may speak to Justin Trudeau's lack of popularity among many of the educated members of TERB's political forum.

i suspect, that Terb,s conservatism, mirrors society in general.majority membership here , i suspect is over45 and high income....Conservative demographic..................as a side note there seems to be alot of bigotry on this board.........the anonymous nature of the internet emboldens those types, i guess...
