umm those stats are wrong. He was 5'10" and if he was only 150lbs I be damned because he was build like a Running back in 1970 when he came back from a broken leg!

Me thinks those stats are from when he burst onto the scene as a 17 year old in the 1958 world cup.

Jamaican bobsleigh team in 1988 sponsored and coached by an American because he thought Jamaicans "could run fast" so they'd be good for bobsleigh but couldn't handle the technical parts? How is that tough? That's just stupid. And it really was stupid they almost killed themselves.

Maybe he looked bigger than 5'7" 150 lbs because everyone else around him were little guys too. Perspective makes a difference.

Someone 5'7" can be extremely fit. But would have a tougher time in the NHL. Theo Flury was 5'6" but he was also like 185 lbs and built like a rock. Martin St. Louis is a little guy 5'7" but is also stocky at over 180 lbs.

please show me where I said Russians dont like hockey. I know my sports and I would never say that. I come from a nation where we try to play EVERY sport known to man. I follow ALL sports(even if I dont watch a whole game for each). Maybe you have a serious lack of comprehension. I merely said you should call the Russians who like football, pussies. By the way, I dont know if jamaica competed in Turin. They lost Mr Brown to Canada and he won a silver medal for Canada. Lets say he sold out. He wanted a medal instead of coming 10th which in itself is stil good for a nation with only sun and grass. No ice rink or snow in sight

HUH? I saw Pele run beside tall lanky English defenders in 1970 and he looked menacing and thick. No one wanted to mess with him. That was the cup Pele said enough to being fouled by defenders who couldnt handle his genius. They broke his leg in 1966 and he came backwith a vengeance in 1970 and handed out some tough tackles and fouls with his new bulky frame. 150lbs???? The man was taller and bigger than 2pac and he was 5'9 and 165.

Do you know how powerful this man's legs were? The power of his shot scared the living daylights out of people and injured MANY!

I have met him already and I doubt he is 5'7" in truth. 5'9" perhaps but so was Emitt Smith. Pele had som heavy duty thighs that packed brute force.
