Dude, throwing out Prager U memes is not really proving a point. It is reenforcing mine.
Throwing out Prager U memes is pretty much conceding defeat.

You are right, Kennedy would probably not recognize the Democratic party today. It's been 60 fucking years! That being said, he probably wouldn't recognize the GOP either.
Kennedy exists before the current party system.
He exists before the move to re-sort into the current party system even started.
He wouldn't recognize either party.
More likely, he would realize the whole system has changed and work from there. Say what you will about him, he seemed to be a pretty savvy politician.

Biden GDP growth 6.5%.
Trump never got above 3%. Obama highest 3.1%.
Obama never got above 3% in his 8 year tenure. 2.7% was the best he did. Trump did 2.9% in his 2nd year.
I love how lefties try to paint Obama as somehow a positive economic POTUS. Its delusional.
But even more delusional is trying to credit Biden for 6.5% growth.

It is delusional not to take into account the magnitude of the economy that the Republican Bush left Obama. That was the biggest recession since the great depression. Obama turned it around and presented Trump with a growing economy.
Now that Trump hands Biden an economy with a high jobless rate and low GDP, when it grows under Biden, you guys are desperately trying to make excuses for it being far better than under Trump.. But You had no problems giving Trump all the credit for a growing economy that was handed to him on a plate!!

Is this the only thing you and your terb friends can do it keep making it personal and not answer the topic being discussed because I exposed the truth in your president when it’s not even your country but you guys sure seem to act like it and defend him with everything you have.

Keep bringing your troll crew here and keep exposing your bias and inability to focus on the topic being discussed.
I can see you have finally figured out these left wing nuts on terb. Keep posting against their bullshit and you'll be labeled an anti-vaxxer anti-masker right wing racist who watches Fox news and voted for Trump or at least believe the election was rigged

You mean the guy that didn't start two unnecessary wars killing many innocent people and costing the country trillions of dollars.
If you're talking Bush, the people were fully in favour of knocking the shit out of Sadam after 9/11...Trump should get credit for not starting a war, except the one he created in his own country.

Already am bro even though I took my vaccine and my whole family is vaccinated. It’s funny because before Trump I used to get attacked by the right wing and ridiculed and now the left wing are doing it. Regardless I refuse to belong to any of their tribes and beg for approval and validation like many do on here. This seems like such a pathetic existence to me.

Looks like people losing faith in their golden boy. Even the democrats are having doubts about his aptitude and competence to run the country. You guys can only pretend so much before it starts backfiring on you.

“Only 40 percent of voters surveyed agreed with the statement that Biden “is in good health,” while 50 percent disagreed. That 10-percentage-point gap — outside the poll’s margin of error — represents a massive 29-point shift since October 2020, when Morning Consult last surveyed the question and found voters believed Biden was in good health by a 19-point margin.”

Couldn’t you guys pick a better president in your minds. I know know it’s your fantasy and you believe he represents you and all so I play along but come on eventually that fantasy will fall apart you guys keep following this lost cause.

Biden hasn't done himself many favours by not doing more frequent interviews. It is likely he is focused on doing work, but it allows the right-wing media to constantly question his capabilities. I do find it very ironic that they turned a blind eye to Trump's repeated missteps that could be construed as him losing his grasp with things, or that he is not the sharpest tool in the shed. But, here's the think: Is Biden the fittest president? Sure as fuck no. He's old. We all know that. We all know he is a one term president. Do I think he's mentally acute? Hard to say, but I do know he has a stutter which can make his speeches sound a little off-kilter. But, as we all know, the right-wing media will use any reason to slam a Democrat president. Hell, remember the outcry when Obama wore a fucking tan suit?

And, on that note, it is obvious that the right-wing media is looking for anything and everything to throw at Biden to say he isn't up for the job. I get it. I mean, it explains their facilitation with Hunter Biden, even if it doesn't really have anything to do with Biden. As I've said, Joe isn't a top 5 president. However, he has done a lot of things in a relatively short period of time while facing massive partisan challenges. I do not think history will be as hard on him as they will be on the former one-term president. Trump will always be listed as one of the worst presidents. Maybe not THE worst, but definitely in the bottom three. Nothing can change that. He is twice impeached, did not manage to push his agenda through, and of course, mishandled the pandemic. Sure, Biden might have more deaths on his watch, but he is doing everything within his power to mitigate things. But, he's facing a GOP that has politicized the pandemic and railed against all the different strategies to blunt its spread. Masks? Nope! Lockdowns?? NO FUCKING WAY!!!! Vaccines? ARE YOU KIDDING MEEE???? If the GOP actually cared about its supporters, they would sing from the same hymnbook as Democrats on this. And maybe that would be the only time. But it would help their supporters, who appear to be the ones dying in high numbers.

Tribalism is a hell of a drug and a powerful political force.

And as the quote goes: “The salient fact of American politics is that there are fifty to seventy million voters each of whom will volunteer to live, with his family, in a cardboard box under an overpass, and cook sparrows on an old curtain rod, if someone would only guarantee that the black, gay, Hispanic, liberal, whatever, in the next box over doesn’t even have a curtain rod, or a sparrow to put on it.”

In 2009, the Federal Reserve printed money and bailed out the banks. That's how the economy was turned around.

In 2020-21, the Federal Reserve again printed money and the U.S. government spent money. This time it will be tricky for the Biden Administration to turn around the economy. First, printing and spending money seems to have hit a limit. Second, the Democrats because of their Progressive wing are loathe to beef up the supply side and encourage people to go back to work. Many Progressives do not understand the linkage behind economic health and productivity.

Fun fact: The U.S. was still in a depression under FDR until World War 2 broke out.

The fact is that The Republicans under Bush really plunged the economy into a deep recession. a sizeable number of Americans lost their homes as they were repossessed by the Banks and other Financial Institutions. That is why the banks were in dire trouble. Whatever Obama did it was fiscally responsible, but it did take quite a few years to turn the economy around. Obama then handed Trump a growing economy and no doubt Trump boasted and took credit for all the previous administration's policies that turned the around economy.

Even more Fun Fact: Hoover practically destroyed the US Economy. When Democrat President Roosevelt took over amid a terrifying Bank crisis, he helped to steer the sinking ship exactly like Obama did!!

The fact is that you couldn't create the massive real estate bubble of the 2000s in just eight years. It was fifteen plus years in the making and was pushed along quite hard by some of the Democrat's pet policies to promote home ownership. The fact is some people don't make responsible homeowners. In any event, the Fed was again the big instigator in the bubble. (If we are in the midst of another real estate bubble, I wouldn't blame Biden if it popped. I would blame the Fed.)

I don't think Obama did a bad job, but his Achilles' heel was that of most Democrats. Because of ideology, they can't promote the supply side. And they have to live with almost suicidal energy policies.

I have followed your simple, chronologically oriented view of politics and its impact on the economy. From what I see up North, Trudeau has had mixed economic results in Canada before and after COVID. Using the precedence of your own incredibly insightful analysis, I really shouldn't give Trudeau any pass on the economic disaster the last two years. However, I will because I can see external factors beyond Trudeau's policies.

However, do you realize the pre-COVID 2019 Canadian GDP was not at its 2014 level? I actually will not fully blame Trudeau for this poor economic performance. I'm on record here saying that when oil prices and other commodities cratered in 2015 it greatly impacted Canada.

OIC, so no problem blaming the Democrats for the Real Estate bubble burst, although the Bush had two full terms to reverse the policies that would be damaging to the economy.
This was the study from Georgetown University to pinpoint the root causes of the bursted housing market bubble:

Wachter has written about that refinance boom with Adam Levitin, a professor at Georgetown University Law Center, in a paper that explains how the housing bubble occurred. She recalled that after 2000, there was a huge expansion in the money supply, and interest rates fell dramatically, “causing a [refinance] boom the likes of which we hadn’t seen before.” That phase continued beyond 2003 because “many players on Wall Street were sitting there with nothing to do.” They spotted “a new kind of mortgage-backed security – not one related to refinance, but one related to expanding the mortgage lending box.” They also found their next market: Borrowers who were not adequately qualified in terms of income levels and down payments on the homes they bought — as well as investors who were eager to buy.

Obama did a great job, and only his haters refuse to accept that fact. No one had any alternative policies that would have dug the USA economy out of the doldrums that Bush plunged them into especially with the dubious Iraq War.

What occurred during the Pandemic did not just impact Canada but all the nations around the Globe. According to Statistics Canada, this was Canada's Gross GDP comparison between 2014 and 2019:

So Yes from 1,825.58 Billion Dollars, to 1,985.30 Billion Dollars. So I am not too sure what your gripe is with the GDP under Trudeau prior to the Pandemic as compared to Harper's last month!!
