Magnesium and other vitamin and mineral deficiencies are very real and causes problems, in your self assessment do you think your diet is poor and needs to be cleaned up?

No routine, schedule or daily rituals can put you in an awful state of mind.
Developing some habit can help alleviate stress, especially getting to sleep and getting up at a certain hour that you make a good effort to always stick to helps.
It's difficult; but for some, literally doing anything is better than letting time pass and overthinking and letting the anxiety creep upon you.

Are you always online? The great problem of being in a connected world is that constant stimulator is so easy with new novel information.
You can always change directions so quickly, we really aren't meant to be exposed to this. In normal conversation this isn't supposed to happen, unless you are talking to someone with ADHD.

I've notice just unplugging and reading a book, be it non-fiction to learn something you're interested you train yourself helps alleviates this stress.
So does a good novel or story.

The news is bad too, because it relies on always exposing you to the negative. COVID, COVID, COVID it's fucking boring realistically but there is always a wanting to learn the new numbers

Or learn to relax, some people just always need to be busy and don't know how to do nothing without worry.

Speaking of books I found this book "The Happiness Advantage" to have some interesting things to think about regarding mental health, and positive psychology.
Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin recommended it in one of his biographies.

Okay; I'm a certified TERB doctor so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I really hope things start to get better.
The COVID news definitely made things worse. It made me more anxious, helpless, and depressed.

I am online almost all the time, as there’s nothing else to do. I definitely think that this has something to do with my depression, and it’s making me sick and tired.

I am seriously thinking of moving to a Third World country such as Thailand, and living in the village. I just think it’s so much more wholesome, with lots of people, laughing, and an easy-going lifestyle. City life focusing on career, money, status, etc is making me isolated, miserable, depressed and sick

I make mostly comfort food this time of year. I made a Roman sanguichi (not Philly) for dinner. The idiot at John's Roast Pork puts spinach on it instead of rapini...may the Iron Sheik fuck his ass with his 10" cock!

Sadly, most people are quite oblivious and stupid when it comes to health.
Majority of people wait for symptoms then look for ways to get better.
Very few think ahead, do preventative maintenance and lead a healthy way of life because it pays dividends.
Eating good food is essential to be healthy. Not some diet with a deadline, but an actual lifestyle.
Vitamins work, but not magically. It takes weeks to accumulate in one's body before any benefits can be felt and seen.
Massage therapy or manual adjustments - smart people do it few times a year, before anything hurts.
Exercising is too a very essential part of healthy living. Strong body, stong mind. Takes time to get into a habit.
Then, there's mental aspect. Don't wait for things to drive you mad and crazy. If you can change something - do it! If it's out of your control - what's the point of stressing out?
What I'm trying to say is: don't be a pussy and suck it up! 😆

Saw a documentary about that a few years ago. Some Brit putz fell in love with a bar Auntie. Gave her all his money. Moved to her village. The smiling natives didn't exactly welcome him with open arms.
She fixed up her farm and set aside the rest of his money for her daughter's future education. Cost him over $100,000.
Gave him a small allowance to get on his scooter and meet a few ex pats for a once a week coffee in the local town. His only social outlet. No pussy for him.
Eventually kicked his ass back to a hotel room in Bankok. Had to beg her to give him air fare back to the UK. where he faced a future of being broke. Living in a bed sit, with little chance of getting a job.
Careful what you wish for. Finding paradise somewhere else is actually hell would be really depressing.

Not sure if I saw the same one but there are 2 sides to every story. The one I saw had me believing his side til I heard her side. The agreement was to start a farm and that would be their income. They did that but he sat around all day and she did all the work. She got fed up and kicked him out. Some thai women are bad but many expats are downright scumbags.

Either way. He got what he deserved. I did refer to him as a putz. It was meant to be an warning parable.

I'm unemployed too. I don't know what kind of job to get. I used to have a career in Engineering in a field that got destroyed by covid. I want to get into something completely different that involves working with people, doesn't require any training and pays 30/h or more. Any ideas?

A job that doesn't requiring training that pays 30/hr or more. What fucking world are you living in???

Just a FYI, about 15 years ago I started feeling very fatigued. I went to go see a regular doctor (who was fucking useless IMO) and his diagnosis was its most likely Epstein Barr virus (also called Yuppie flu). He said there was no cure and I was just gonna have to learn to manage it.

I was then referred to by a friend to Dr. Hui in Toronto. He examined me and noticed I had 9 mercury dental fillings.
He then performed a urine test on me. When the results came back it turned out I had very high levels of mercury in my body.
He then told me I first had to go see dentist who specializes in mercury filling removal.
All my fillings had to come out and had to be replaced with composite fillings.

So I did all that (which wasnt cheap) and I noticed a drastic improvement in my fatigue.
But I still wasnt completely cured yet. I still felt lingering fatigue.

He then told me I had to do something called intravenous mercury chelation to get rid of all the mercury that was stored inside my body.
Dr. Hui is one of the few people in Canada who offers this chelation at his 3 clinics.
Its also not cheap (I think it was around $120 per session).
I wound up having to do 10 sessions to get rid of all the mercury.
But when it was all said and done I felt terrific and back to my normal self.

It still pisses me off to this day that Health Canada allows dentists to use mercury amalgam fillings.
Mercury is the 5th most poisonous metal in the world.
How the fuck does anyone think this is a good idea to put this in peoples mouths??!!
Many countries have banned mercury fillings, but Canada still hasnt apparently.

If you wanna read more about this have a look at this link: https://trans4mind.com/nutrition/cfs.htm
Its almost a carbon copy of what I went through, although the guy who wrote that had more severe symptoms than I did

I'm the same.

Tired, bored, getting sick, etc.

I feel the getting sick is because I'm not exposed to much germs because I'm - more or less - a shut in.

Everytime I go out I usually catch something.

It's not possible to stay in forever, I have to buy groceries, so I have to keep blowing my nose and such. I refuse medicine, because I don't really care if I die.

As far as bored, it's mostly because I watched the interesting stuff already.

As far as tired, it's GREAT, I feel happy in dreamland. Wish I could sleep 18 hours a day.

As far as social isolation, also GREAT. Being with people makes me upset ( because these nuts are stupider then a stump ), and a bit afraid .... ( because these people are selfish and aggressive ).

I want these people to leave me alone, that's when I'm the most happy.
