I beg to differ. The Asians (mostly Chinese) I see are here by choice and carry passports and many have PR status or citizenship. Perhaps it is different outside of GTA but even some Chinese I met and had come to know in the GTA freely returned to their homes. I know some are trafficked, as are other nationalities including Canadians. Painting all with one brush rarely gets good results.

It seems like pricing is the same for agencies but the Indy world seems like it jumped up a little up into the 400-500 PH range from perhaps the 300-400 range. Is this making up for lost business, risk premium,, because hotels are way cheaper and so is travel...any thoughts or expansion?

What SP should realise: teary are "public figures", and weaver post they make affect the way clients look at them and, as a result, client;s desire to see them. If you simply want to express your true opinion (like you do here), you wile lose lots of business. Just fruit for thoughts.

Not obvious. It depends on the reasons why she sees less clients: is it because she chose so (in which case yes, she may ask for a higher rate) or because clients simply do not want to see her (either because of the high rate or other characteristics)

Raising prices for legitimate reasons are okay. Taking advantage of situations to raise prices is not okay. I understand that the providers have to make a living and have been hurting. Not all providers have raised their prices as some have in the most recent past. However, it sometimes is a slap in the face when the situation looks like it is a money-grab.

I tipped this provider generously in the past. Let's look at things on a case-by-case basis and not paint everyone with the same brush.

we don’t even consider people who haggle on the level of $20-30difference

Personally I just block, it’s not even worth it for me answer that same phone inquiry again.

in real life clients are not this petty, mostly ppl from boards are huge timewasters and trouble makers
