Doesn't matter who the Sens play, they will choke every year as long as Krusty the clown is their captain and as long as their fans keep running their mouths.

I still don't know what irritates me more, the actual team, or their annoying stupid, geeky, drunk fans. I guess it doesn't matter now.

The team motto for the Senators is "maybe next year" because every spring, that is what they all say.

Having ate my humble pie a while ago after the Leafs were ousted from the playoffs, I derive nothing but satisfaction from the fact that Ottawa is out. True, I have the deal somewhat sweetened by the fact that I have 7 Buffalo players in my pool and am looking good to come in first because of them, but that pales in comparison to the general overall glowing feeling that I've got going on because Ottawa's out. All that needs to be said now is "Let's go, Buffalo!"

It all about Hasek.

Two years ago when Hasek was signed most "hockey experts" picked the Senators to win the Stanley Cup. Only the venerable Dave Hodge had reservations. It all depended which Hasek showed up; the 2002 champion or 1997 farce.

Without him the Wings may not have won the Cup in 2002; however in 1997 he sat in a private box, supposedly nursing and injury, drinking beer and conspiring with his GM (Muckler) to undermine his coach (Nolan).
