Hello all! Since yesterday, I've been having some problems with my e-mail - I can read them no problem but can't reply...when I click on reply, nothing happens and it says error on page. Also, my internet has been a bit more slow. Anyone know what's going on? (I'm not particularly good with computers). :(

I, too, am fed up with viruses, spyware, malware, whatever. I've had my computer for about two years and it is now almost unusable. I did a restore a few weeks ago and can at least access the internet again. I can't access my Rogers email at all but don't care as 99% (no exaggeration) of my emails were spam. I now use a hotmail account instead.

My suggestion - seriously - get a Mac. I plan to do just that in a month or so.

I just went through the exact same problem. I called Rogers, followed their instructions and it just got worse. I couldn't even open my outlook express.

I finally caved in and called a techie. It cost me $200 which included a Linksys router (I have no idea what that is) and his time. He also started a new e-mail account (same name and password) and imported my inbox, outbox etc. I'm up and running.

At the range!!!
I had the same problem for a month and just got around to calling rigers tonight; all is fine now.

If you have a router here's what you may have to do....

Click 'Tools'
Click "accounts'
Click the 'Mail" tab
Double click the account you are having trouble with
Click the 'server' tab

Your incoming mail server should be pop.broadband.rogers.com, mine just said pop which was all that was needed before.

Your outgoing mail server should be smtp.broadband.rogers.com, mine just said smtp ....

There is a checbox at the bottom of that window for "my server requires authentication" Place a checkmark in that box.

Hope this helps
