Hello Hobbyists! Just curious if you have had to reduce your hobbying with the increased pressure on cash flow from inflated housing etc.

I can’t afford it or justify it at all anymore especially with Xmas right around the corner. The girls raising prices like crazy too make it easy to say nope I’ll just rub one out and save my money!
For me (and note this is not a judgement on all the great MPAs working these days), the biggest change has been the sharp increase in prices, compared to what I will call the "pre-covid" era. Admittedly, I did take a few years off, away from the scene during 2020-22. However, what I was paying for a "standard" type of service at a spa prior to Covid has increased so much, that in some cases it is almost double what it was! As an example, in my experience a 45 min session with some kissing, DATY, reverse massage, etc used to be....around 150-170, but lately I have been quoted anywhere from 200-300 for similar type of session.
Yes, the cost of almost everything has gone up, but not like that. Because my income has only seen a very VERY small increase, yes, I have less to spend, and need to be more picky about who I See and how many times I go to a spa. Now, one could argue that prices were too low prior to Covid, which I mentioned in a previous thread. Perhaps they are finally catching up? I don't know. But in my case, I just can't afford to go as often as I used to go. Jealous of you that are able to go weekly or more, and have to live vicariously through your reports.

I’m lucky to be a little older now so I only need perhaps 2 visits a month
Also MSOG no longer applies to me so I just book 30 minutes
Also sticking with regular SP's can provide discounts now and then

It seems SP's are making up for lower volume by charging more per session. Frequency has got to be taking a hit with the pressure on the federal reserves.
Yes! I'd rather eat! Grocery prices are accounting for a bigger part of my income these days.
Yup, toghtened the belt since late Sept. used to go about twice a month, I missed October entirely and only went once in November. I will miss December too and probably January.
spending $500+ for one hour is not a good money efficiency. Especially if I am not able to finish- a problem I have- and have to end up rubbing one out anyways.

At my age, inflation doesn't worry me.

I still see lots of MAs with fully booked schedules so apparently there's guys going out in droves. Love to hear one of these punters chime in here. For me, it's not so much lack of discretionary income but too busy to find time for escapades, age has caught up with me so msog not happening, and I find 30 minutes ample time to meet my basic needs, 45 minutes max if there's chemistry usually more mature older MAs as the younger ones can't seem to hold a conversation that interests me longer than 30 minutes. I see my long term regular for 1hr at the club, and, at my expense , outcalls at the hotel for 2 to 3hr sessions every 1 to 2 months. So 1-2 times a month is plenty for me for non regulars.

Personally, the situation has definetly forced me to adapt. If I used to visit what's usually considered reputable FS provider before for a 1H session for 250/ 300h, now that they're increasing their prices on average between 350 to 400h, rather than setting up an appointment for that price, I've been switching to MAs recently. Alpha's special base rate has been taking care of my needs for example. You can still find an old school GFE service if you do your research. I tried Asian MP, but it's not worth the hassle. Like someone said above, there's been several occasions already where I just end up rubbing one out to take care of the itch.
Not throwing shade to anyone, as long as there's people willing to pay higher rates, the more power to a provider to charge what they consider its a fair value for their services. Personally, despite some tweaks here and there, I'm basically just being priced out of the scene.

Even if you have the extra cash one starts to question the value of burning $400 for an hour that is YMMV.
Exactly. It used to be a small indulge for me to be able to visit ladies at a higher price range, but with the new rates, they just make me realize I'm not the target market lol
Again nothing wrong with that. Lots of fellas here that can burn 400, 500 dollars on escapades every week. Go have fun! Just like Ferraris, I love watching them, but I don't think I'll ride them anytime soon.
I’ve slowed down in the last year, and especially since the spring. Just busy with life and work. Although it does not really affect me economically I’ve been finding it harder and harder to feel good about dropping $300-500 on a fleeting experience when the funds can go towards other more personally rewarding pursuits.
At some point, irrational person would think that if the demand for service providers is dropping because fewer people are indulging or doing it less often, the prices would subsequently drop as well.

unfortunately, as the prices keep going up .... so do my expectations for receiving great service.
