It amazes me.

Two nuclear powers go at it, a war that could escalate very quickly because Pakistan has a policy to actually use baby tactical nukes against ground forces. It looks like however both sides are going to try to de escalate or at least reign in the hot heads, possibly prevents a spillover into other volatile areas including Russia, China.

And some fucks here think not only is it important that Trump gets credit but from all appearances if he was even partially helpful that it not happen because they would rather a war than he get a shred of credit. So myopic it's insane

Fuck. I don't give a rats ass the who or how, just that the lid gets put back in this quickly. Root for peace guys!

You're better informed than squeezer. The reason is that India has a much larger standing army.

US simulations predict that, if there is an all out ground assault by India, Pakistani troops will be overwhelmed in 12 days, and will use tactical nukes on the Indians within Pakistani territory.

That is in their battle doctrine yes. But not tactical by definition. They are way smaller, capable of taking out divisions. A small town or village.

No, if he did negotiate a ceasefire, why would that be bad?
But he is taking credit and lying as usual.
Am just pointing out inconsistencies.
The only ones giving credit to Trump is Trump himself and Pakistan - the country that started the terrorist attacks lol.
The Righties as usual want to believe that this ceasefire was "negotiated by Trump", especially when India has already told Trump to stay out of it.
In fact the ones who brokered this deal was :
  • The United Nations and countries around the world, including Bangladesh, Qatar, Turkiye and the United Kingdom, have welcomed the ceasefire, which was brokered by more than 30 countries.

That was clarified by these other sources:

Speaking Geo News, Pakistan’s foreign minister said that India and Pakistan had agreed to a “full-fledged” and “not partial” ceasefire, claiming that over three dozen countries were involved in the diplomacy.

He added that Saudi Arabia and Turkey played a key role in brokering the deal, reported Associated Press (AP).

Dar said that both India and Pakistan were involved in “direct communication” and “as a result a joint agreement was reached”.

He pointed out that the UK was also involved in finding a resolution. “The UK Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, played a key role in this process,” BBC quoted him as saying to Geo TV.

Saudi Arabia engaged with both India and Pakistan to reduce tensions.

After Operation Sindoor on May 7, Saudi Arabia’s deputy foreign minister had made unannounced visits to both countries.
