Bush denies magazine's suggestion of dyslexia

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Republican presidential nominee George W. Bush on Tuesday denied suggestions in a Vanity Fair article that he has dyslexia.

"No, I'm not dyslexic," Bush said on ABC's "Good Morning America." "That's all I can tell you."

Bush said he hadn't read the article and referred to his spokeswoman Karen Hughes' characterization: "In the case of this story, fiction is stranger than truth," she said.

The article in the magazine's October issue quotes language experts who say Bush's tendency to mix up words while speaking is consistent with dyslexia, a neurological disorder impairing the ability to read and write.

Bush's presidential campaign said the author, Gail Sheehy, may have confused the Texas governor with his brother, Neil, who has dyslexia.

He is not dyslexic. He is just a moron.

Seriously, it was just an observation. What do you suppose it is that causes you to be in these rabid fights with so often with so many? You do, from time to time bring up some very good points, it's not all bad. Do you suppose it's 'them' or 'you'.

What I have observed, is that you fly off the handle easily (sometimes). It could be work-stress related. I do not think you are a mean person. Mean and nasty people I will just prefer to take out behind the barn and...well..you know, change their perspective. You on the other hand are a different case...more or less a little warped in your perspective, but not a bad person.

It's a big planet...lots of board space.... Do you enjoy provoking people's hostility? What does it do for you? Curious.

some of the "invoking of hostility" is intentional and some of it is not.

In a way I enjoy having my views challenged it keeps me honest, but I would never admit that.(oh shut I just did)
