Can't believe it. My heart's broken. What the hell is the matter with me. I, who, was only interested in the sex part fell for an sp who I've had a long term relationship with. Spent lots of off meter time going out with her to finally figure out the relationship was one way. Anyone else experience either end of a relationship like this - fell in love or got the heart smashed?

yep, wasn't with an sp though, dont see how an sp taking you for a free ride 'going out', etc, is any different than any other woman doing that to you *shrug*

Dating an SP is difficult, even if there's a ton of chemistry. Likely your hours are different, especially if she's on call 7 days a week from mid-evening to 3 a.m. When do you get a chance to see each other? Can't call her before 1 p.m. because she's asleep. Somehow you put out of your mind not really knowing where she is or with whom, hoping that she's safe, and you remember that your paid sessions with her (before you asked her out) were spent talking and making-out, and that she told you she loves you and that you make her heart dance. You convince yourself that it's like any other job when the agency calls and says that the driver will be there in 45 minutes as she tries to convince mostly herself that it's not so bad, really, its not so bad.

The stupid thing is that I have an S.O. so I really have no right to feel this way.

Shouldn't the info in post #5 been included in post #1?!!!??? So you're saying you've not only been paying for sex with a SP but dating the SP all the while having a SO and now you think you're in love with the SP?

Sounds like you need to think about what the possible outcomes of this whole mess is and which one you prefer the most and steer yourself towards that one.

Will it be
a) girlfriend A
b) girlfriend B
c) girlfriend A and B but they don't know about each other
d) girlfriend A + B and they know about each other
e) none of the above.... girlfriend C

Is that what he meant? I just thought he meant he was paying for dinner dates, but still paying her as an SP and doing this for a while - hence the long term thing. I dont think she'd see him as a date and client. Go with Girlfriend C - it's very rare that she leaves you, and she has a twin - girlfreind D! ;)

Not once, but twice.

The first time was tough. The second time was easier having been through it before (even though the second one was longer and more of a two way relationship). Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Who is this S.O. of whom you speak?

You can't count Alfred or even Dick Grayson as a S.O.. Aunt Harriet is out of the running, (I hope). Mayhaps Batgirl? A little young, perhaps. But hey! We like 'em that way around here.

Cheers,
Jack.

A lot of sp's cannot believe that a john can really ever love them, once he knows that they have been an sp.

It might be true. If they can't accept the john, then the relartionship will never work.:(
