one of cmj tweet mentioned she doesnt mind her reputation is tarnish. if i remember correctly, cmj has two owners. what is the name of the other owner?Does Jasmin still run CMJ? I know her, I'm surprised she would keep the place open.
And it appears she raised her rates too. Now that most of the competition has shut down what better time to take advantage of the situation. What's especially disappointing about Karmella is she is a nurse in her 'civilian' life. So this is especially misguided and selfish in my opinion. Lost a lot of respect for her seeing that ad.
It's on everyone, clients and providers, to do the right thing. It seems like most people are. It's too bad that those who are not will quite likely end up prolonging the pain for the rest of us.I agree with this but we have to equally blame the men ignoring the risks to go see them. My prediction was that eventually the rate of clients would drop so low that these girls would not have enough to operate. Clearly that's not the case! Clearly there are just enough men (perhaps just as much) seeing escorts now, and CMJ along with all the other establishments open across Canada are capitalizing on this situation! Now the girls that working, are making more money because the pool of girls available are limited! It's really hard to say, but if they are open so far into the week, it must mean they are getting a solid revenue stream!
She's by far the worst. I don't believe Vanessa Rivera is working paycheck to paycheck like Amber Meow. I mean she's one of the most notable escort in Ottawa.Vanessa Rivera is not only still working, she's still travelling and working! She's currently in Winnipeg after leaving Saskatoon a couple days ago and she was in Prince Albert just before that. She likes to spread the...love?
Shameful!
Wow a nurse that knows the crisis far better then the average person but still banks on escorting and to top it off, she's increasing her rates! Talk about selfish.I texted her to confirm if she's really going to work (given COVID-19 AND that she's a nurse)
She didn't reply
That's totally mindblowing
At least if you see her now, you get a 2 for 1: the COVID-19 and grandfathered before she goes to $400/hour!
Best post ever!!!All I know is when this is all over I'm gonna party like it's my birthday.
already have been although i'm a bit behind:Ottawa is at 16 cases now.
We should keep a daily tab on this number.
Speaking of partying, I'm tried of drinking alone everyday by myself, I feel like UberDriva lol.
For the record I don't drink every day and never alone.
This is what I want people to look at and think about before judging too harshly. Even if you dont agree with it.I too was abit shocked to see CMJ staying open after the other spas closed so I sent them an email to share my disappointment. Jasmin personally wrote me back from her personal email. In her words
"Thank you for your email and concern, it means so much that you have taken the time to reach out to us directly. Yes, this an unprecedented time we are finding ourselves in and it is very scary. We are taking it very seriously, regardless of what some are saying on Twitter - we even cancelled our St. Patty's day party on March 12 which was scheduled for March 13th BEFORE the WHO declared it a pandemic and before the government asked Ontarians' to self quarantine and before businesses were asked to voluntarily close. Many of our staff have chosen to stop working and we have supported their choice and even encouraged it. However, this happened so fast (the government asking non essential businesses to close) that many of our staff were not prepared financially so we are helping them by giving them some extra time and most have stopped working once they had enough funds to get them through the next bit. Some of these women have zero savings and have mouths to feed. The risk is still relatively low in Ottawa as there is only 13 confirmed cases all of which, are related to international travel. We are monitoring the situation daily and assessing risk daily and more then likely won't be open next week, we are just buying the ladies who want and NEED to work, some more time. Lets be real here, there is a huge possibility that this isn't going to be over in a few weeks - it may be months! And when you have no food in your cupboards and no diapers and no family to support you... I WILL NOT abandon my staff in their time of need, regardless of whether this causes you to look differently at CMJ. These ladies wont qualify for the goverment handouts or EI as they are in a cash business. Some spas closed without warning to their staff and some have asked us if they can come and work at CMJ just to make some last minute emergency money! I am also exploring a way to secure some emergency funds for my staff as well as other SW in Ottawa to help them get through this time. Contrary to the accusations of some, this has nothing to do with greed and everything to do with helping these ladies transition into the tough times ahead.
I hope this helps clarify things and I hope you understand where CMJ is coming from.
Kindest regards,
Elizabeth aka Jasmin

After reading her reply I understood the situation better. Its not black and white. I will give CMJ the benefit of the doubt and will continue to support them when things get back to normal.
MMMGood
The ladies just have to make better financial decisions and I am saying this for their own good. Yes they make good money but when you look at their expenses and the activities they may have indulged in and the type of people they may be surrounded with, I am not entirely surprised they are living paycheques to paycheques, so to speak. A lot of regular Canadians are in the same predicament as well but again they don't rake in the amount of cash these ladies do.It seems very contradicting to me. Here I am sitting at home with no income for the past 4 days but I still have enough savings from my decent job. 2 weeks ago agency girls were doing business as usual (at least in Ottawa) and making very good money but now in a state of desperation and HAVE to work to make ends meet? If this is the case, it seems many SP/Mas are highly in debt or in a situation where they are the prime source of income for their kids and family. And judging by how many escorts are still operating Canada, this is a alarming number of individuals!
It becomes increasingly hard to believe when a provider charges 500/h and just got back from a luxury vacation only to incessantly tweet online about how she is going to get evicted and go back to living with her parents....The ladies just have to make better financial decisions and I am saying this for their own good. Yes they make good money but when you look at their expenses and the activities they may have indulged in and the type of people they may be surrounded with, I am not entirely surprised they are living paycheques to paycheques, so to speak. A lot of regular Canadians are in the same predicament as well but again they don't rake in the amount of cash these ladies do.
Not here to judge anyone, we have all gone through the roller coaster of life. Just want to see them make better financial decisions for their overall well-being, that's all.
