I'm going to organize a Terb party for Hobbyist and SPs. Where should the venue be?

We can make it more anonymous by calling it a "book club" meeting at the venue. I know some people were against the strip club venue at the last Xmas. However it does allow the SPs attending to be freeir to dress however to dress how they like and not stick out.

However this is why I'm doing the poll.

This will most likely be in either downtown or uptown Toronto (Since parking situation is easier in uptown) versus Suberbia.

Normal useless poll for me since I would not be able to attend. I live far enough out of town that the only time I cold make it would be on a weekend, a time when it is not possible to plan a party since the SPs and MPAs are too busy.

Why not Oasis? It's a private adult club - you can do what you like there. Bar prices seem reasonable, and there's lots of room for socializing, etc.

I would vote for M4 or Oasis, as the atmosphere would be freer and no push back from the strippers.
You would have to check it out 1st to see if those clubs would be ok with an SP theme.
If not,then back to the Strip Clubs

The problem with strip clubs is that sometimes the dancers don't like SPs being there and 'stealing their business'. Seen it happen in the past.

The problem with these functions, regardless of where they are held, is it creates "ammunition" for the unscrupulous to use against the unsuspecting hobbyist. Seen it happen in the past.

And now- in this "post C36" environment... one has to be even more careful.

That's why I think a pub is a good idea. You could go almost unnoticed in a busy pub environment. And, honestly, in a pub nobody seems to care.

True. I've only ever attended one such function. It was organized by another board, at a regular club down town. I went as the escort of an SP friend of mine, and another SP that wanted to tag along. It actually turn into a 3way before, then a dinner, and the party afterwards, and another 3way afterwards, so I DID have a blast, but I was very careful not to give out any info other than my first name, and even then, ONLY to a select few individuals.

There would be $50 cover charge for each single man attending so that should be taken into consideration..

Hotel suite and BYOB could be fun. But Wednesday or Thursday night in a bar or pub seems like the best option.

I agree. I really like idea of a Hotel Suite or if that is not doable I am good with a bar or pub - just depends which one. A Thursday night would be great!

They would never let that happen. Letting SPs in the club would be too risky for them.

Actually I know that place. Yeah there is lots of room there which is a plus.
