A year and a half later you're still pushing for more systematic racism instead of trying to fix the system?Any rational person can draw a straight line from the George Floyd protests to the demonization of the police.
Fact: George Floyd's oxygen level was 98%.
Fact: No traumatic asphyxia or strangulation
Fact: Yet, the lefties blame the police for his death.
Fact: It is the left calling to "defund" the police.
"The left’s demonization of police not only has endangered public safety by fueling crime waves nationwide, but it has ignited a record number of shootings targeting cops."
"Tragically, the resulting increase in crime will not affect everyone equally. It has long been the case that Blacks are homicide victims at a dramatically higher rate than whites. FBI homicide data shows more than 20 Black victims per 100,000, as compared to under three white victims. Thus, because Black lives do matter, organizations like BLM ought to be opposed to demonizing police. And, because homicides are overwhelmingly intraracial, BLM should be most particularly concerned about demonizing police among Blacks. Unfortunately, they have chosen instead to lead the demonization movement"

The court found Derek Chauvin guilty of killing Floyd.98% oxygen level is not racist.
Oxgen level is 98 to 99% does that mean lungs are working well? | Answers from Doctors | HealthTap
Darts - George Floyd was dead long before any Paramedics got to him . Chauvin committed murder and the sad thing is it wasn't even remotely necessary. Your other claims are complete Bullshit. And guess what ? The judge and jury involved felt the same way . OMG how could that happen ? Where the fuck did you invent these falsehoods ? Or in the interests of credibility would you like someone to run a simulation of the events on you to see if it's a credible siutation and have 200 pounds of pressure applied to your neck for 10 minutes while you are handcuffed and see if you live ? Let me know and I can arrange it .Any rational person can draw a straight line from the George Floyd protests to the demonization of the police.

Floyd died and he didn't do it to himself. Chauvin was clearly guilty . It was on video for all to see. What the fuck does Soros have to do with this ?Prosecution expert doctor testified, was cross examined and testified in reply.
Defence expert testified and was cross examined.
Twelve jurors and one judge listened to all this and did not understand the huge significance of 98% whatsoever and convicted a good police officer.
I blame Soros and lasers!
You need a copy of the updated rule book: Repugs are allowed to blame ANYTHING on Soros and his antifa cabal. Lefties can likewise blame Trump and the Russians....Floyd died and he didn't do it to himself. Chauvin was clearly guilty . It was on video for all to see. What the fuck does Soros have to do with this ?
Lefties? LOL..... How about this is what happens when you have 300 years of racism and slavery that have never been properly resolved. Police have been abusing blacks for a long time and George Floyd is fresh in mind .This is what happens when the lefties demonize the police.
I've been to the U.S. many times, never had any problems with the police. Can't say the same for some members of an ethnic group that we are not allowed to name.
Here's the thing, in most parts of the US, and for significant periods of time, blacks and latinos have been marginalized communities. They've been forced to live in the "projects," faced massive barriers to being able to own property, and faced discrimination in nearly every part of their lives. Segregation and Jim Crow laws. The media also sensationalized black crimes. Hell, up until the 1960s, black men were being lynched for rumours they looked at a white woman. Those prejudices and stereotypes play out in our media today. Black, latino or POC characters are frequently portrayed as the villains, gang bangers or drug dealers. As I've said in other threads, predominantly black neighbourhoods tend to be over policed. What this means is, the cops take the approach that they will arrest or ticket people for any slight infraction. The idea is that enforcement will root out the chances of future crime. But it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. If you heavily police an area, you will see a surge in arrests and tickets. Does this mean the area is more crime ridden than say a comparable white neighbourhood? No, not really. But, what happens is the police see a spike in "crime" so they ask for more resources from the city, and put more officers into those neighbourhoods....leading to even more arrests. So, now that black neighbourhood has the reputation of being a crime ridden hellhole.saying police demonize themselves is like saying a certain race is doing it...an action of a few doesn't represent the many...you of all people should know better....
still not an excuse to say all cops are doing it...just like not everyone of a certain ethnicity is a thug...I don't know how far left you're leaning but definitely not close to the center if you paint most cops are bad and racist...Here's the thing, in most parts of the US, and for significant periods of time, blacks and latinos have been marginalized communities. And yes, some neighbourhoods are crime ridden and places where you don't want to make a wrong turn into at any time of the day. But the point I'm trying to make here is there are historical and systemic issues as to why the black community is demonized. White America (and Canada for that matter) don't want to face the reality that the problems in the black community started in 1619. Things have improved, but those communities still face significant challenges.
Now, for cops...Let's think about how they were viewed even 15 years ago. They were considered heroic first responders who ran towards gunfire to keep people safe. Yes, they are still that today....but with the rise in body cameras, CCTV and mobile phones, we see the really dark side of them. We've know there were racists on the force. That they used excessive force before (see Rodney King), but most white people never realized how POC experienced them before. The random stops, the power trips, the dehumanizing treatment, the disregard for the welfare of arrested people. The petty reasons POC were violently arrested for. Eric Garner had his life choked out of him because he was selling loose cigarettes. Not crack. Not heroine, not opioids. He wasn't threatening people with a knife or gun. Now, if it was a one-time thing, people would just say it was one bad cop. But these types of videos show a much deeper problem with US policing. I mean, how many police interactions have gone horribly wrong and been caught on video? I'm not saying the person being arrested was a saint or angel, or that they were not resisting arrest or behaving badly in some of them. And there is video showing this type of treatment to white suspects (though it is much less frequent).
A lot of people's views on policing have changed because of this. On top of that, you also realize the police lie almost as bad as Trump. They put out media reports on these interactions and white wash them to make it sound like the suspect was on PCP and murdering nuns, while the cops were heroic and saved the day. Then the video comes out and....well, you know.
That's not the message of the BLM movement.still not an excuse to say all cops are doing it...just like not everyone of a certain ethnicity is a thug...I don't know how far left you're leaning but definitely not close to the center if you paint most cops are bad and racist...
No denying there are racists in the force as there is in every walks of life...you can't also deny thugs kill cops and anybody that impedes their objectives...you don't focus only on one side...focus on it as a whole...seems like BLM is only foucsed on cops but keeps silent when thugs do the killing...That's not the message of the BLM movement.
They are against systematic racism, which includes everything silentkisser said and also acknowledges that policing in the US is systematically racist.
Do we really have to do this all over again?
Shall we start with you telling us why 'the talk' isn't a problem?
What is your theory on how the court, which had a direct look at the real evidence and not just the conjecture you post, came up with a murder charge?According to the autopsy report Mr. Floyd's oxygen level was 98% which is normal. So, he did not lack for oxygen.
The autopsy also revealed "no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation".
These are facts that I mentioned in Post 38 with citations. People are free to dispute facts but they would need to provide credible supporting evidence (not personal attacks/insults).
Why are you focused only on those killed? No denying there are racists in the force as there is in every walks of life...you can't also deny thugs kill cops and anybody that impedes their objectives...you don't focus only on one side...focus on it as a whole...seems like BLM is only foucsed on cops but keeps silent when thugs do the killing...
Wow relax !How about the fucking righty gun advocates that encourage gun violence. It works that way, no guns, no gun violence, problem solved. Take your fucking partisan bullshit and stuff it.
What Bullshit are you spreading ? Are you a cop or something ?According to the autopsy report Mr. Floyd's oxygen level was 98% which is normal. So, he did not lack for oxygen.

See, part of the problem is that while the crap officers might make up, say 5% of all police officers, the others don't do anything about it. They rarely intervene or report bad behaviour, they defend them and even cover for them. Snitches get stitches and so on, protect the thin blue line....Then you have the issues of police unions, which frequently get fired cops their jobs back regardless of how egregious their actions are. Then you add in qualified immunity, and the police can steal and break the law with impunity. These last two things are mostly in the US. And don't get me started on the militarization of the police. Giving them AR-15s and basically tanks, they abuse that shit like crazy. Now, that isn't necessarily new. For those of you old enough to remember, the Philadelphia police BOMBED a home, then the fire department let the blaze burn, destroying 61 homes...in a black neighbourhood....still not an excuse to say all cops are doing it...just like not everyone of a certain ethnicity is a thug...I don't know how far left you're leaning but definitely not close to the center if you paint most cops are bad and racist...
