Canada was in a great position before the Tory took power. The over all individual's income hasn't increased since 2003. The Tory had increased child tax benefit, but child poverty in Canada remained relatively high. I could keep going on but the point is why are you guys still voting for Harper?

At least Trudeau is honest enough to talk about the deficits. On the other hand Use by Expiry Date Harpo, has never been transparent. He has always boasted about how strong an economy Canada has, that he created from the very day he took over. Yes, has he ever thanked the previous Liberal Government, for leaving him a surplus? Harpo did not say anything about the deficits and how long it would take to reverse it.

Yet the law they drew up didn't have to be that way. They could have ensured that sex workers have their rights respected without criminalizing an act that was up till then legal. They quite simply used the court decision as an excuse to implement their public stated morality (though I'm sure the private morality of many includes an occasional brush with prostitution).
That's the problem. Canada (like the US) needs massive investment in infrastructure to even keep what we have functioning let alone build our capacity to a functional level for the future. Sadly we have what was mentioned earlier about voting against our interests. People love complaining that things the use are broken but go ape-shit if anyone suggests raising taxes. The world economy is struggling right now and oil costs are down so the government isn't going to be getting an influx of money in the next few years. Therefore we either need significant tax hikes, we need to run a deficit, or we should expect not to access the things we need.
