Tow truck operators are refusing to assist Ottawa police with removal of vehicles.
I hope Ottawa take away their licences.

You see, ordinary people do support this protest.Tow truck operators are refusing to assist Ottawa police with removal of vehicles.

Likely they realize that the police won't back them so don't want to risk their vehicles towing trucks in an angry mob.You see, ordinary people do support this protest.
You mean there will be no police car at the time of towing? Wow, even I do no assume the police is so incompetent. How about a simpler answer: blue-colour working people are tired of this COVID-measures shit. They want their life back with drinking beer, doing their regular job, and not having to wear stupid masks.Likely they realize that the police won't back them so don't want to risk their vehicles towing trucks in an angry mob.
to say nothing of the sick patients at nearby hospitals who can’t get any rest.
There are no hospitals in downtown Ottawa. Outside of downtown core (a few blocks) life is normal.to say nothing of the sick patients at nearby hospitals who can’t get any rest.
They claim their temper tantrum is for all Canadians.
With friends like these protesters, who needs enemies?
sorry, I meant Toronto. There are no hospitals in downtown Ottawa. Outside of downtown core (a few blocks) life is normal.
yea, Toronto may be different, but it is Toronto problem. Mobility in Ottawa downtown now (with protests) is still better than in Toronto downtown on a regular daysorry, I meant Toronto.
Sure, everybody is sick of it.You mean there will be no police car at the time of towing? Wow, even I do no assume the police is so incompetent. How about a simpler answer: blue-colour working people are tired of this COVID-measures shit. They want their life back with drinking beer, doing their regular job, and not having to wear stupid masks.
Just like you were advocating with Trump and BLM.How about just addressing the crowd? In person. And answer their questions. ...
I like what they did in Quebec and had 'random' spot-checks on trucks near their legislature.I'm a Trudeau supporter and I say he's a coward for not enacting the Canada Emergencies Act and labeling those radical truckers terrorists and throwing them in Federal prison and forcefully vaccinating them. But you righties aren't ever grateful that Trudeau will never do that. Legault (as much as I don't like him) has balls if he was PM he would do it.
You mean.like "racist" or "misogynist " in Canada?I can explain. In USA the worst insult you can spit out is coward. It has nothing to do with bravery or the lack hereof, it is simply a word you use about someone you intensely dislike.
Not really. "Coward" has a special place in American language. You mean.like "racist" or "misogynist " in Canada?
I didn't agree with the flack Maher caught back then, but it was partially his fault. The 9/11 terrorists were cowards for attacking civilians- that was the meaning of the term used by the administration (and everybody else in America). Maher chose to be literal and objected the use of the term on the basis of the suicidal(self sacrificial) nature of the attack. So, yeah- while the attack was cowardly it was not performed by cowards. Not really. "Coward" has a special place in American language.
Remember when Maher got in trouble. The White house called the people who flew airplanes into the Twin Towers on 9/11 cowards.
You are not wrong, but you prove the point I was making. In American language, the word coward has no connection to bravery.I didn't agree with the flack Maher caught back then, but it was partially his fault. The 9/11 terrorists were cowards for attacking civilians- that was the meaning of the term used by the administration (and everybody else in America).
