Tonight I went to the basketball game (Raptors vs Knicks). It wasn't a bad game nore was it a particularly good one. The Raptors won pretty convincingly.

But as I was in the arena, I realized that I actually do miss hockey. I was kind of surprised - didn't think it would matter quite so much to me. But I guess deep down I'm a fan and I just kind of regret not having it around.

Having said that, I'm not willing to pay more for hockey tickets. These guys have got to understand that there's a limit. They need to find a creative way to come to terms and end the strike.

It's a pretty safe bet that the players getting their way is more likely to result in higher prices than if the owners get a cap. Any plan by players will always be more inflationary.
