I'm confused with the obsession of US politics in a Canadian forum. When I moved here I met several enthusiastic Trump supporters which was a huge shock and they were extremely disappointed to hear what I had to say about that fat orange loser. Heck, met a young guy a week ago and he saw my US plates and he couldn't wait to talk Trump and DeSantis to me! 🤯
It's not that complicated. As the US goes, Canada goes. Canadian politics are therefore greatly influenced by American politics, except there is a always a delay between the American example and the Canadian response.

There would be no modern day Canada without all of the American investment which was once made here, and without the relatively free (and voluminous) trade between the US and Canada.

Mitch, what about Trump the Butterball Twat? It's about to get really really hot in the pot for the fat bird.

WOW, we went 16 posts on Hunter's legal troubles without any mention of Trump. I think that is a new TERB record.

Trump appointed judges not too good for credibility and for being non partisan
It seems people here don't understand our process for nominating Federal judges. Many times the process starts with the State's Senators.

Per CBS News: Noreika was nominated by then President Donald Trump — a point the Biden White House has been quick to raise — in December 2017. Both of Delaware's Democratic senators supported Noreika's nomination to the court. Sen. Tom Carper described her as a "highly-respected, sought-after" attorney with "a vast knowledge of the law and a thorough understanding of the courts," as evident from her decades-long career in the state's judicial system. Sen. Chris Coons praised Noreika's "impressive trial skills, deep experience in federal practice, and profound respect for the law."

Given that, we should be looking at what she said and did in Court yesterday. I think she asked the right questions. She asked the attorneys on both sides to clarify and gave them time to come back. It seems pretty fair to me.

Why they were sloppy in drafting the plea agreement is unbeknown to us? Even some of the progressive posse here recognize that.

Me thinks the prosecutors and Hunter's attorneys took too much for granted. So no "rubber stamp"..............today.

Maybe like Trump. Let him go to jail then pardon him. Trump did that in the hundreds.
Jalimon, since I don't consider you a progressive partisan may I ask you to speak with more authority. Perhaps cite an objective source and give some context instead of just firing off a post.

Pardons by the previous five Presidents below. So technically you are correct two hundred just qualifies as "hundreds". In context Trump's pardons were no great number.

Unlike your hero Joe has stayed fastidoulsly out if the workings of the DOJ. You should look into that concept some time.
How do you know that Joe and Merrick didn't discuss this case?

There us nothing wrong with a potus appointing judges they favor. Not sure about this judge but many appointed or nominated by the wannabe autocratic in chief were rated unqualified by aba.

This might be a bit of an overstatement. As a commodity powerhouse Canada would and does find markets across the globe.

Certainly, riding the back of the world's largest economy does present huge economic advantages. Industrial output in the Great Lakes region is certainly tied to the United States. One might argue Canada's tech sector has advantages with its proximity to the U.S.

I would never ever want to deprive the righties of not having Trump's name mentioned. My Terb brother Mitch relies on me for his satisfaction whenever he sees his idol's name written and displayed. Now if he would send me at least $250 for the services rendered.

Does TERB allow for price discussions? It's a no-no on some sex forums.
