Excellent synopsis of what's out there so far. Including some info on donors giving Hunter money to bail him out. And why the plea was rejected.

So you owe me an apology as well.
No, you still stepped on a joke to respond with a political statement that had nothing to with the my post.

You should take care more care in trying to comprehend the discussion. Perhaps you are overextended across too many social media forums.

I know, you think its off topic when I point out your hypocrisy.
It is pretty hilarious that the right wing keeps hoping new dirt will come out of Rudy's Russian hacking of HB's laptop even after 3 years.
But it must be getting hard to justify the focus in the face of the daily new charges on rump, yesterday's new charges are for showing US attack plans on Iran to party guests.
I know, off topic.

Feel free to continue on about how HB's tax issues are now the gravest threat to democracy since.....

Not following the thread again. Trying to set me up as your strawman. I'm not talking about the grave threat of Hunter's tax issues. I was merely exchanging some humor with squeezer. Don't know what you were reading.

Anyway Frank, four minutes to Wapner. You need to get to a television.

Maybe it's not Frank's turn to choose the TV show?

TV's are so old school.
This thread is about Hunter's tax plea deal, by the way.

Hey, that's the first time I saw Hawley since he hi tailed it through the Capitol, fleeing from the same rioters he gave the Nazi salute to a couple of hours earlier!

Same.

I think the Judge came out of the whole thing looking the best, honestly. She's the only one who seemed to be completely on the ball.

We haven't even seen the plea agreement, so we don't know how badly drafted it is.
I seem to recall some shakeup in the prosecution team not too long ago as well, so I'm not even sure it is the same team presenting as the one that drafted it.
Need to check on that.

But really "Woah, there's some weird shit here and you all don't seem to be on the same page" seems a completely reasonable reaction from the judge, and once that happens it makes perfect sense that she wasn't going to let them come back with "Oh, we worked it out now" without insisting whatever they worked out being written up with all the i's dotted and t's crossed and shown to her.
My take too. The lawyering was just sub par and the deal wasn't fully worked out and intelligible. That's all that's going on here, folks!
