Even here protected by given "administrative" as opposed to dishonorable for testing positive for cocaine use.
From your article.

Contrary to Trump’s claim, Hunter Biden’s discharge was administrative, which is standard procedure for failed drug tests, rather than dishonorable
So... not protected in any way.
Good to know.
Thanks for clearing that up.

Reuters added an opinion. Here is a legal reps sysopsis. Including the fact felony charges can be on the table.

He took a plea deal, probably arranged by daddy.

That is an ad by a law firm, but sure.

Including the fact felony charges can be on the table.
Let's see what the ad says.

  • Bad Conduct discharge: Drug use is often labeled as “serious misconduct.” This can lead to military discharge, including a Bad Conduct or in extreme cases a dishonorable discharge. In addition, being discharged for a drug offense renders you ineligible for reenlistment in any branch of the Armed Forces.
Yup.
Agreeing with what your other article said.
It is only a dishonourable discharge in extreme cases.

So nothing out of the ordinary here.

  • Jail time: A guilty verdict in a civilian court could result in extended incarceration. The best way to defend against this consequence is to have the charge heard in a military trial. However, even if your case goes to a court martial, a guilty verdict here could escalate the case to a civilian court, where an imprisonment sentence is possible.
So perfectly normal for it not to have become a felony charge according to this.

He took a plea deal, probably arranged by daddy.
Who did he take a plea deal with?
Where is this deal recorded?
And why would the perfectly normal act of a plea deal (which is what happens in most cases in the American legal system) require special arrangement by daddy?

Seriously, Butler, you need to stop being so invested in your Narrative and mistaking it for real life.

"A guilty verdict in civilian court can lead to extended incarceration"

Hmmmm.....who is responsible for that?! And locking up lots of poor ghetto kids? I guess the scions of Senators who get the opportunity to join the navy are exempt from his father's contempt.

Several times let off....

Dating back to being 18, a waiver to get in the Navy, other times drugs found but no charges brought.

All because of his name. How many black kids get the same treatment?

By the way using drugs is not a crime in Canada and many other jurisdictions. Possessing is. So returning a car with a crack pipe (which presumably wouldn’t have enough drug to be analyzed ) is not a crime at all.

Which isn't the normal outcome of drugs in the military.
The military handles its own things.

And the normal result is an administrative discharge.
Which is what happened here.

I know this makes you angry, but reality is reality.

He got breaks because rich and connected, absolutely. (Although getting waivered in for prior drug issues isn't that uncommon, from what I understand.)
That isn't what you claimed though.
You claimed influence on the discharge, which I showed you was you being full of shit.

See, he is rich, with an influential father, and therefore got special treatment. You finally admitted it.

Not so hard. Now though the curtain is down. We see the man behind it.

There are possession of drug periphanalia charges available as well in many jurisdictions.

I never denied he got advantages, welcome to the real world.

I denied your fantasies about what happened that run through your fevered brain.

Again, for the umpteenth time -- "I, Butler, have imagined this happened, therefore it must be true" isn't the standard of proof to the rest of us that you want it to be.

LOL

For example, saying shit like this.

Not Hunter not Trump are going to jail...so what the hey?
LOCK THEM UP
LOCK THEM UP
LOCK THEM UP

they can share a cell and play strip poker. Perhaps they can pull some strings and have coke and hookers brought into the cell. They would both enjoy that.

Nothing imagined. Simple case of Nepobaby getting his cumupance. After years of getting away with shit.

And more importantly the man who created the legislation(including the article shows HE WAS IN FACT A PART OF THE GUN LAWS HE IS CHARGED UNDER) that locked up millions of poor people now has to watch his son pay the same way.

And soon the man who says "pay your fair share" can't protect him from tax evasion charges either.

Which article is that?
The one you quoted in post 229. It's right there in black and white.

If you are going to critique a source, reading it, and comprehending it is pretty much a requirement.
