A high-end cologne is the key to a long lasting good scent. But you need the right one for you.

Everyone's body chemistry reacts differently to different colognes and generates a different scent.

It has to work with your phermones to generate any interest from women.

So it is trial and error. But when you get it right, you will get enough compliments to think maybe you are wearing too much. But you are not, it is just the right one for you.

I have been using the same cologne for a few decades. Currently the designer is trying to phase that scent out. I am hoarding now.

I know there is something to this body chemistry concept. My son used my cologne a few times when we were travelling and he was surprized at the compliments that he got. Now he uses it every day ...and we are friendly but competing hoarders !

I heard this years ago. Find out what cologne or aftershave her father wore. I think there's some truth to it.
Heavy cologne has a high alcohol content. Good virus repellent....

Hi, I saw your ad and would be interested in booking an hour with you. I'm a 50 year old white male. Could you please tell me what soap and deodorant your father uses? Thank you.

Often get compliments on my smell. I use a minimally scented body wash, shampoo and shaving gel. Dove for men deodorant. And that’s it. No cologne or other artificial scents. Most women I’ve been with (civilian and professional) tell me they like a man to smell like a man, no BO, but no perfume. And I’m probably genetically lucky that I can sweat like a pig (and I do sweat a lot in heat/ exercise) but not smell.

The old ivory soap back in Oz and I'd get comments on how clean I always smelled. Diet matters too. Eat a lot of shit you won't smell as good. Curry garlic etc is fantastic but it can leave traces on ya if you eat it too much. An ex gf said her friend dated a guy who always stunk, even right after a shower. She said he was a nice bloke but she had to get drunk to have sex w him. Some folks who have that problem found taking zinc supplements helped put out the stink.

It is like long hair on men. Do what women do . Moisturizing body wash, scented body scrub, lotion immediately after drying off, a few squirts of body spray. Deodorant. Make sure all of your scents coordinate. Get opinions as to which smell suits you Spray on clothes is cool

Of course no bad breath.

Strong cologne is a no go as too many people are sensitive to it.

Maybe a place like " the body shop" has ideas especially concerning sensitivity

Good thread.

I like to have a hot bath with these ingredients

1
onion, chopped
2
medium carrots, peeled and cut into rounds
2
stalks celery, chopped
3
cloves garlic, minced
3
medium russet potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
4 c.
low-sodium beef broth
1
(16-oz.) bottle Guinness
Go around smelling like Irish Stew all day.

Totally agree with finding the right cologne, and yes the high end ones are $$$ but are actually economical because of their strength.
This is my go to:

Sadly it's discontinued. I've got about half a bottle left that must be 20 years old, for "special" occasions only.
Only takes a drop or two, and needs to be applied at least an hour prior to any event. It takes that long to settle down and become subtle.
And I have to wash my hands several times to make them scent free. If I'm near the garage industrial hand cleaner with pumice works. It's that strong.

It's the only scent I use. Most women who get close enough to pick it up lean in and ask what it is. Magic in a bottle.

I have about 10 different ones.

My faves are Vince Camuto, Giorgio Armani, Kenneth Cole Black and Burberry.

As for deodorant, it doesn't have to be scented, but Mitchum totally prevents any underarm perspiration. Keeps you dry, dry, dry.

I go for the woodsy smell. They actually use wood to make cologne. Smells musty, like you slept near a camp fire in an old growth forest

Although one theory is find out what her dad used to smell like and emulate it for a particular female.
What if her dad smells like shit.

Shower, make sure you clean your ass (I mean like dig that finger up in there and everything), clean your bawls and dick cheese, use deodorant, always wear fresh clean clothes, a dab of cologne goes a long way, and if you really need, use bawl powder for your under carriage region. Lots of dudes thing they are fresh and nope. Sweaty swamp, smell and all under there. Noxious.
