Jerk off twice!!!! but then you might get blisters
I think you are misreading the link. The guy suggesting to rub one out before the main session was the guy looking for advice not suggesting it.

The advise is to learn to exercise your pubococcygeal muscle (PC Muscle) in order to control the ejaculation reflexes. Also, if you sensitive to her body heat once you enter her then you have to learn to overcome it. Either just do nothing for a few moments after penetration or do more foreplay beforehand. The goal is to "warm up" and become less sensitized before the pumping starts.

Double condoms can work also for desensitization.

Don't use porn stars as role model. Most of the time they are rock hard before the pants come off which means assistance is involved (viagra or injections)

This has turned into quite the read... I had no idea men tried to "control" their orgasms, as I know if I feel one coming on, I can't help but want to make love harder and faster. Even pushing against him so we can climax together...
Although I am a woman and our bodies are totally different so what do my thoughts matter in this regard?

Coming together is the BEST!!!
I agree but she always cum's faster than me. :( I use no 'tricks' to last longer.

How do you make yourself cum sooner?

Do Kegel Exercises. Here is a how to article on Kegel Exercises.
http://sexuality.about.com/od/anatomyresponse/ht/kegelsmen.htm
Kegel exercises can be good for men who are experiencing incontinence or who lack ejaculatory control (premature ejaculation). They have also been recommended as a way of changing how orgasms feel (some, but not all, men say it enhances their orgasms).

Not sure how that really helps me.....:(

One word..

antidepressants.
Actually I used Zyban to quit smoking, which is a low dose of Wellbutrin and I was lucky to even get wood at all. Albeit, my doctor said that I had a particularly strong reaction... Because I had every symptom imaginable save quitting smoking.

Just do what I do before a date. Rub one off, shower up, and then go to play. Also, age and experience helps as well.

Failing that, most sex shops have numbing agents. It's basically the same stuff you can use on a sore tooth. (I've used both on my penis. :) ) Find a brand that is latex safe, put one dab on the tip of your penis and away you go. Just be sure not to get any on the woman's fun bits-- She'll go numb, and if you go down on her you'll be talking like you're slightly retarded. The same goes if she goes down on you.

You can always try a cock ring. You'll shoot like normal, but the blood wont leave your penis. If you're lucky you can get a second shot while never going limp. Just be sure to take the thing off before too long (Gangrene and tissue damage, uggh.).

I've never tried Vitamin V & C-- but they mostly help getting wood and getting wood back.

Now that is really messed up, Zyban/Wellbutrin is the one anti-depressant that goes against the grain, and in most circumstances increases sex drive. Go figure. Wellbutrin is in the aminoketone class, unlike most which are either in the SSRI's, MAO Inhibitors or phenylpiperazine's (sp.), which either delay ejaculation, or make erections difficult to achieve (at least until ones body gets used to them).

When I was on Wellbutrin, I wanted to fuck anything that walked, shame I had to stop taking it.

In my case it was very frustrating-- I had the urge, but it's like I was permanently shifting between zoning in and zoning out. So I'd get a chubby then switch to having an out of body experience. It felt like, "Woah, look at me, I fucking horny." but I wouldn't be 'in me' when when I was feeling it. (That was a 24 / 7 thing, and the biggest problem.) edit: It was a source of mockery while in the sack, but I was working a summer job at the time and it was quite a bit more scary when driving, using yard equipment or power tools. I'd try to 'man up' but I couldn't keep my shit together.

As I said, that stuff messed me up-- My doctor told me to get off it ASAP. I was also constipated, had the pasties, and couldn't sleep and when I did I was getting vivid dreams and night terrors.

I just looked up the drug again and I suppose that the zoning in and out could be classed as 'confusion'. It was the oddest thing in my life (and I've taken some fun chemicals in my day). My Doc advised me to stay away from Zyban and Wellbutrin in the future... In my case i don't have much of a history of depression (or any of the other things the drug is being considered for) so I should be pretty safe.

edit: A 1 Player, tell your doc you want to try Zyban to quit smoking. ;) Unless it will conflict with other stuff you're on at the moment.

The rest of what you mentioned are common side effects for most antidepressants. Not fun at all I can assure you.

For men, the longer the wait the more profound the climax.

Men try and control their orgasms to prolong the act, and to make it more enjoyable for their female partner because it normally takes them longer to get to that point.

Its a cruel irony that women for some reason (on average) "take longer" to climax than men... the upside is, they are also more easily multi orgasmic, and the take less time "for recovery" between "O's" (in my experience).

Of course your thoughts on the matter (as a woman) are relevant! Sex is a 2 way street and should be enjoyed by ALL parties involved!
