I've actually encountered a few of these, just like you said probably the best way is to skip DATY and finish as best as you can. Even if the girl showers, it won't take care of a smell like that. It's usually due to bacterial imbalances and/or I've heard of tampons or other things that may be in there rotting that they haven't realized. But yeah showering won't help anyway so there's no point taking a chance at upsetting the girl
