I booked and spoke to an SP daily for the last 3 days trying to book some fun time for this friday night.

1 hour to go she sends an email saying something came up.

I have actually only ever had one girl cancel on me once, and it was in Amsterdam, so I just said fuck it, and went out and visited one of my regular window girls instead. I really wish we had a good red light district here, it’d make things so much easier.

Is it common for girls to cancel here? I’m pretty new to the Toronto scene.

i'm so annoyed to be honest. although i stated i would still like to see her, maybe I'll just find someone else. I'm generally a nice person and tip well if I'm happy.

This is like the 3rd time it's happened in the last year with new escorts. they're such flakes and then complain guys do them all the time.

Look for consistent and or well reviewed girls. While shit happens to the best of em, its rare to never if you do research.

Depending on the type of excuse they gave and how upfront they are, give them a chance. If its blatant bs excuse, move to ban list. If not, consider a second chance at a later date if you're really into them.

Pro tip, like these fantasy sports dorks, create your own fantasy fuck list of people to see from indy to agency. That way if one isnt available, go down the list and find out who is. May not avoid cancels, but will help with your terminal case of blueballs and dickinhand.

I've only dealt with agency girls but a few times they would cancel the morning of.

I only had to cancel once and that was because I took the subway and it went down between stations for 45 minutes. I was so pissed.

Yeah, that’s exactly why I love Amsterdam so much. A girl cancels on me, I just throw my jacket on, walk a few blocks, and I can be banging another girl within minutes. Don’t need to worry about lists and texting to try to find someone who’s available. Can’t beat that kind of convenience.

I certainly understand about being upset but do you know if this girl has a history of this? Life happens, shit could have came up... family emergency, kid is sick, dog died, car trouble, there's a lot that can go wrong. My very first attempt at seeing an escort (defunct agency in Durham) their neighbours in the building they were hosting in happened to be moving that day and plugged up the entire hallway so the appt. was cancelled.

I'd keep your cool and try setting up another time. I would imagine if she is reputable she might offer some form of restitution, maybe either a little extra time or a slightly reduced rate. She emailed you prior to the time rather than ghosting so that says something.

I’ve had more than my share of cancellations and ghosting. I got Ghosted twice last week. Once by a lady I know, fell asleep, and the other by a new girl I was really interested in.

But last night, I finally met with and had a great session with Juno Grey. I was Ghosted last year for a prebooked and planned appointment. She lost her phone. So couldn’t text me. Eventually, she offered a discount on a session, I happily agreed. Less than an hour before appointment time, when I texted her telling her I was on my way, she said she had to cancel. Damn! But immediately, she offer to make it up to me, which did happen last night.
And, she’s well worth the trip. Tall blonde, big firm natural boobs, an ass to die for, and a beautiful sweet Pussy. She fun and funny, smart, talented and an amazing lover.
Yup, some who have Ghosted I’d never talk to again, but shit happens and sometimes it’s worth the effort.

I tried 3 times with an independent. Even sent etransfers (without the password) and a payment as well. As you know, they hold the money out of your account.

The third cancel she did not give a reason. It happened 30 minutes before and we confirmed the morning of. She advertises here and I was very nice and cordial all prior times she cancelled as she gave me reasons. This was over 5 weeks.

Move along I guess, but I really want to meet her...

Did you at least recover the deposit?

Is it a provider who moans and complains about the clients cancelling?

I don't mind being cancelled on because real world problems do occur but then again I never leave a deposit and I am always ready with a plan b.

It really depends on the lady. Some are more reliable than others. If you stick to those who are well established and professional you can avoid a lot of headaches, but cancellations will happen. I think most providers keep the job secret and separate from their "vanilla life" so the occasional conflict will come up. I would much rather a lady cancel if she isn't feeling well or whatever than work and have the session be sub-par. I used to have a regular who gave very nice compensation when she had to cancel. The follow up session was so good I almost started to hope she would cancel because I loved how she made it up to me. If all ladies did that you wouldn't hear guys complaining lol.

Yes, etransfers expire after 30 days but they charge like $5 to cancel. I can wait the month for my money.

The independents seem to be moving towards deposits, but its ok for them to cancel on you. I get it though, they don't want to do it and I would only want them at the best. But some like the one above may just be flaky in general.

The first 2 times she gave me good reasons, so I kept trying. The third, she didn't even bother to explain. No customer service. I actually would have tried again if she gave a good reason. But three is the most I will try.

Some agencies are very reliable and likely screen out unreliable girls. Others are blasé about canceling last minute and don’t really care.
My personal experience is that HPL is the worst with last minute cancellations. I’ve been cancelled quite a few times AFTER I’d confirmed that day and arrived at the location. A few times when prebooking an appointment they didn’t even bother to let me know a shift was cancelled or moved. I only knew because I checked their schedule. The worst part was they just didn’t care. No apologies or attempts to make it right.
One of the worst was the (in)famous Stacy of HPL, TDL, Mirage and EC. So many last minute cancellations with her. She bounced from agency to agency because of it.
I once had a well know Indy who cancelled on me last minute. We scheduled a make up appointment which she cancelled on me less than an hour before because she was “tired”. She contacted me later in the evening and said she had a nap and was up for seeing me. I drove 1/2 hour to see her ... and she contacted me when I was 5 minutes away to say she changed her mind. This was habitual with her.

Many ladies will cancel at the last minute due to a regular wanting to see them.
I often call regular ladies I see at the last moment, usually an hour or 30 minutes prior to wanting to see them, and many times they’ve told me they just cancelled on another customer.
Honestly, I tell them that’s not good for their bottom line but the excuse was, it’s a newbie client , he’s desperate, and will book again, or the potential customer was sketchy anyways, so no big loss.
Once, a lady did say they were tired and was thinking of cancelling anyways, but was fine with seeing me, cause seeing me doesn’t feel like like work, lol.

One lady on here I tried to see 3 times. Cancelled the first time, agency said she’s not working the next time, even though her twitter said she was working, cancelled Morning of the 3rd try. I gave up.
Another one, I had seen once, cancelled due to snow storm at 10am for a 9pm appt. Storm was gone early afternoon, roads were clear by rush hour. She skipped her whole shift and was tweeting about diner at the Keg during our appt time. I saw a plan b which worked out great. Never tried her again.
Then there was a girl, advertises on here, I had seen once, great session. I asked her out to a concert.
She agreed on a $900 concert date. Cancelled last min. Burned a $213 vip ticket and went by myself. Saw a late night agency girl for $140. Never heard from her again.

I've been around for about 7 years.

In that time I've been cancelled on by an agency when about 5 mins away. They threw $20 at me in an attempt to compensate, not impressed.

I was ghosted on by Sultry Sofia after meeting her a few weeks earlier (I guess she had second thoughts about working with me).

And I've had Parker of TDL cancel a couple of times well in advance for which she gave more than an ample explanation on this forum.

So not very often, and 2 out of 3 times with some "customer service" in response.
Cancel would be to have an appointment booked so pls correct that. We never had an appointment booked. You reached out to me. Now if you would like to discuss why I didn't text back then you get do that in private.

^^^^ It is not a matter of counting, it is a matter of professionalism and discretion for the client. I personally would not want to discuss a negative interaction with a client on the board for the public. I wouldn't want to tell a client {which I am only listing as random examples, not a reflection of VS2} here that his behaviour was an issue, his hygiene, his attitude, etc. I am not here to bad mouth a client, however, I would not accept being wrongfully put down either. I think SS handle that with grace and professional and should be left alone to address this privately.

As for the topic at hand, I do apologize on behalf of escorts. It is not right, a lot of the stories I have read here. Like every business, some are good at handling schedules and with customer service, and others just are not. So having a plan B is always good.

I know that for me, my whole business model is created around the fact that I need pre-booked appointments and I can say I have never cancelled one yet. I have had cancellations on me and my rule for newbies is cancel one - ok. Cancel twice - blacklisted. As a couple on TERB have found out.

For regulars, I can't say I have had that problem. I have a had maybe 1 or 2 cancels because of an issue, but it was always made up.

However, again - my business model is made for pre-bookings, so when I plan a date, I reserve the day from "mainstream" work, and I don't take more than one client that day, so I can be flexible. If a client needs to change the time because something came up, I am able to see them early or later. Which has happened a few times as well.

I imagine this happens on both sides of the arrangement quite often. That said, it more than frustrates me when it happens. My schedule is busy, and it's difficult to open up some time to see a lady, so a last minute cancellation really throws a wrench in things.

Luckily, I've only had this happen to me once with an SP, and she provided no explanation, only saying (after three texts from me inquiring) that she couldn't make it. By the time she responded to my texts our appointment was literally 5 minutes away. This was a long time ago now; I don't think she works anymore and I can't even remember her name.

More frequently it happens at MPs. A lady will simply decide not to come in that day. Now, I can understand this if something came up (ie. an emergency, sickness or their period hit), but why are they not required to inform the spa like any normal person would? Generally these situations go like this: I call in, they say she's not in yet and to call back in 30 minutes, I call in, they say she's not in yet and to call back in 30 minutes, rinse and repeat until my appointment time has come and gone. I can only imagine how many gents were put out by this one lady not coming in and not informing anyone about it. Hugely disrespectful.

As for myself, I have had to cancel a few times that I can remember. Once with an escort, twice at a spa. Two times I gave greater than 24 hours notice. The other time was 18 hours and was a true emergency. If I were cancelling last minute, I'd feel morally obligated to pay the rate in full anyway.
