How long before Dakota Fanning is snorting coke? She sucks!!

I won't go so far as Gyaos but I do have to agree that she sucks.
Her films are horrible and no matter what role she is playing, she is horrible.
There is something about her that creeps me out. I didn't mind her so much in War of the Worlds but in other roles, she's just eerie.

I've narrowed it down to her mannerisms. She acts too fucking old for her age. She may be articulate, but when you see a child on screen or in person, you expect a bit of childishness. With her, she has these really old person eyes and her mannerisms are too mature for her age.

Perhaps she'll become a great actor but for now, I stay away from her films. She sucks at acting and creeps me out too much.

Perfect point is her cameo appearance in the last season of Friends. She was horrible horrible and horrible.

Judging by the many responses in this thread, I can conclude that people are split on whether they like her or not. That's fine. I never called the people who like her to be idiots. However, if you read many of the responses of those who like her, they are constantly attacking the ones who don't. Nice double standard you hold. No I haven't been on TERB for a long time and it irks me that threads are often derailed.

I think she does have a future as well. She seems bright and intelligent, just not the greatest actor. If this is what we have for child prodigies, then we're stuck. She will no doubt become more mature in her acting style and most likely be better at accomplishing what the director really wants.
Lets not blame the bad acting on the directors. They can only do so much.
