No wonder you are so violently anti-Trump, anti-MAGA, anti-GOP.

I am actually pro-MAGA, pro-GOP, but anti-Trump (although he is still better than most Democrats, but his policies over the last year made me worry of him). Unfortunately, the left went crazy over the last decade. I hope in the after-Trump era, the Republican party can recover - they are still in a better mindset than most of the Democrats. IMHO, Canadian Liberals did the smartest things (although without Trump's help, they would have lost by a landslide)

Of course, because time is needed to build up toward the recession. Try to run a lagged regression on which party was in power 3 years before the recession started.
