How do you look up road closures?

I was going southbound on Allen and was going to turn left on the ramp to the 401 West but it was closed. Had to turn left and go on the 401 East tried to get off at Avenue Rd but it was closed so I was able to turn only on Yonge st . Made me waste a lot of time. How do find out how long these streets are closed? I use that 401 west ramp a lot. Thanks

Use Waze. No need for you to know dates. The app will give you the quickest route in real time.
