Had a good friend who did some work with one of the popular porn sites. He was pretty good and it ended up being a paid gig for him.
Thing is, it was quite a bit of work, I would help out once in a while however it was an issue with my SO at the time.
Dont think you would have too much trouble finding something but keep in mind you may be expected to do grunt work or stuff thats not particularly fun.

Decades ago during the very early days of the proliferation of internet porn, I had an opportunity to do some strictly ancillary work in it. I told my partner about the opportunity at the time, and we talked about it seriously, like any business opportunity. We discussed things like having to tell family what I would be doing (or hiding it from them) and the potential stigma/impact on our future employment opportunities if I did this. She went so far as to say that my choice to do that could impact her career. Suffice it to say the bloom wore-off then and there.

Thanks for all the responses, everyone. Some trolling and ball-busting here but also some great, serious, informative topics. Really appreciate the talks. Thank you.

What I want:
I don't want to be an actor/talent, obviously. But I'm looking for any other posting that lets me just contribute and be around the industry. Whether it be on a porn video set, a strip club, a massage place, whatever.
I can be a lighting assistant, a camera man, a clean-up boy, someone who carries food around or fetches coffee, someone who does paperwork or bookkeeping, someone who wipes down the furniture in the dressing room with Lysol wipes. I'm open to anything to be honest.

Why I want it:
Many of these industries like film, music, television, etc. people get their start by donating their time and simply being around the "real people" that do it. Then you learn, network, and grow from there. I think the adult world is the same. If you hope to open up your own strip club one day, a good place to start would be to volunteer with a strip club manager and learn some knowledge. If I start learning now, maybe when I'm 40 I'll have my own strip club.

I am 29M. I know I won't be some useless slob on the set. I have some skills I hope I could donate effectively:
  • I took several film&video classes in college so I know how to operate a professional camera and how to edit videos professionally. I can operate lighting equipment or carry water bottles around or be a peon.
  • I can also do graphic design, editing, and know how to use AI to make graphic content.
  • My current real job is an accountant so I can help with finances.
Film and tv industry, adult or not, if you tell a producer, owner. I want to volunteer, get ready to be taken advantage, of, big time.

Get ready to either be a fluffer, or clean the sex rooms and throw out a bunch of used condoms, take out the trash, get coffee, food etc. Don’t expect them to teach you much or anything at all. And don’t expect to be able to have sex with the female talent for free.

If that’s what you want, all the power to you, your life OP.

Tell me where I said that. Bold and underline it.

Easier said than done. How do I find a production? I can't just google "porn shoots Toronto" and then expect to waltz onto set.
Cold call, send emails, knock on doors.
It’s not hard. If you sell yourself, and they hear the word, volunteer, you might get lucky.
Not sure how you’re going to make a living when you’re donating your time and labour for 12 hours plus a day or a set. Or in a club.
