And what about the poor Christians, who were so horribly victimized by these statements? Perhaps they would view the situation as someone who had too much to drink one night and said some foolish things? Maybe they would simply laugh it off and get on with their lives.

Considering the Bible thumping Christians have launched campains against Sponge Bob and Tele-Tubbies, I have no doubt that they would launch an anti-Mel campaign.

Well put Wumpscut. It's exactly what I've been thinking. Who gives a rat's ass what a bigoted multi-millionaire actor with anti-semetic views has to say. Mel's entitled to his fucked-up views, he can spill shit all he wants. Just like all of us. Everyone has an opinion (right or wrong), people just need to ignore the bastard. What everyone seems to overlook is what got him in this mess......his high speed, reckless, drunken driving which is a clear and present danger. Fuck his personal views on the world, his driving could have killed someone. Apparently there's been previous incidents of him driving the same way like he owned Malibu but he got off because of his celeb status.

Crucify him for his dangerous actions, screw the rest. We all have opinions, what makes his more valid than everyone else?

The truth here is your handlers realized how stupid you are and how you are burying yourself with anti-semetic comments in Hollywood so you start to do some damage control and hope your Jewish lawyer can get you off without a criminal record and your Jewish accountant can figure out how to make up for the lost income from being so stupid.

I think Mel Gibson stated a truth. Now It might have been not what the Israelis liked, because they dont like the truth anyways. But he spoke his mind and his views are shared by a heck of alot of people. Even Orthodox Jews. If Orthodox Jews were allowed to come to popular media, the Israelis would not be able to use the Anti-Semitesim execuse to shut people down or to discredit people when they voice their openions.
