I bet that you have no personal knowledge of us, don't know the good that we have brought and continue to bring to Canada and the world, and don't know anything of the suffering we have felt at the hands of people with opinions like yours. Apparently in Canada the lawmakers identify some societal danger with hate speech, and it is illegal because the danger outweighs the value of absolute freedom of speech (like yelling fire in a crowded cinema).
