I’m surprised you’ve missed this. They are not liberal biased news approved but as jcpro said they have a strong track record.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/trump_administration/prez_track_sep26
Am I to assume you're trying to do jcpro's homework for him?

The term "you've missed this' is really only apposite when talking to people with some respect for and interest in polls. I certainly have tried to miss it. I have still less of both for those people who insist on arguing over them. As if they mattered outside of political back-rooms. Way too much techno-trivia dependent guesswork and AI for my experience in any real world. But there is a sort of mean-spirited fun to be had from how excitedly people fight over stuff they don't even present accurately. And then there's the fact that I'm a Canuck, and give even less of a pinch for polls about US pols, than the little I care about Canadian polls.

If this was indeed the source for the post of 7:57AM EDT, it's interesting to note the updates don't come out until 9:30AM EDT.
----
PS I'm given to understand that 538, another poll that was reported with elementary-school accuracy has a similar track record. They disagreed with whoever jc was relying on.
--------
PS: The only poll I believe in, and do care about, is the official one, on Election Day. The real one where everyone gets a vote, and every vote gets counted.

The President lost that one. So did the country and the people.

Hillary didn’t lose because of her centrist neocon positions, she lost because she’s a cunt.
Both actually. Trump won the nomination partially because he promised no new wars. And some "change" Obama voters in swing states as a result.

And because the Chosen One had help from Putin.
You might want to leave yourself some wiggle room in case Trump wins reelection. I'm trying to help you here.

You mean election day where someone wins and the people who didn't like the winner to begin with start crying about how they didn't really win because they didn't get the popular vote... and then spend the next 4 years on a witch hunt to try and get them out of office?
That election day?

Now you're going on about these Rasmussen folks, whoever they are. What connection do they have with the post you're replying to?

Are you having trouble finding the words to simply tell us what you read, and where, back when you plopped some unattributed (not to say invented) statistic in here? Do you expect I might actually remember it?

Sorry. Too many TERBians toss around too many imaginary stats too often for that. Even imagined/invented to a tenth of a percent, unattributed stats don't impress.

And persuade even less.
Yawn, people who claim to be on top of the current events, yet never peer over the fence. Sign of the schizophrenic times we live in. Rasmussen is part of the RealClear Average, btw. Anyone who is serious about following the American politics uses it as a reference because it is a poll that shows trends in real time.

Every election has a loser... this is different because Trump is a lying douchebag who shits on the Constitution daily. Witch hunt? You are insane.... this guy is nothing but a lifelong grifter with mental health issues who thinks he can get away with anything. For the sake of democracy, let's hope he has finally reached the tipping point and the teflon has worn off.

If Donny was anything like a President or a winner, he'd have spent the years building the support he failed to get on 2016 so that he could win the popular vote on the next Election Day, and prove he was the People's Choice, not just the choice of 50%+1 of 538* elite political hacks.

As for trying to get him out of office, they did that with Obama too, and he at least won his Election. It's par for the course in US politics. Donny just gives his opponents more ammunition to work with than most.

Mesantime, the only election he ever won was the one the Electoral College held that made him President.
------
* Oddly enough that's also the name of a polling company, and the topic is 'polls that count, and polls that don't'

You mean like how every Democrat, Republican and major party candidate has for over two hundred years. They've looked at a map of the county and tried to garner state and regional support. Don't hate the player. Hate the game.

That's just simply untrue. The Republican House investigated some members of the Executive Branch and the Federal bureaucracy on some things important and some things less important. However, they never threatened or uttered the words impeachment.

That's ironic, because when you get genuine people trying to change the game, it's convenient to hate the player.

For the sake of democracy, let's respect democratic elections and the office of the President.

It's amazing to me how many leftists love freedom and democracy...until they don't like someone or get their way.

So many experts, here. Yet, even the title of this thread is bullshit. The Botox Queen cannot announce anything "formally" without a vote. This is a slight of hand design to calm down the crazis within her party.

Repeat the above 3 times and tap your ruby red shoes.

The irony of it all.

That's what I mean. Partisan/personal shots, but nothing on the subject. That's the level of discourse, here.

Why not listen to the words of a non-partisan expert.

Intelligence Community strikes back — an impeachment game-changer
© Getty Images
President Donald J. Trump will be impeached. Maybe not convicted by the Senate, but impeached by the House. That’s my prediction, given the rapidly unfolding events in Ukrainegate. The catalyst for impeachment is the alleged CIA whistleblower and the team of intelligence community officials he is going to bat for. Trump picked a fight with the wrong crowd. Now, they’re fighting back, with the Constitution in one hand, and evidence of Trump’s corruption in the other. Game on.

You might call this team, collectively, “Deep State Throat.” They’re a Deep State, alright, but not like Trump thinks. They’re not rogues. They’re patriots. Let’s just buckle up and watch how this plays out over the coming weeks and months.

I read the White House “transcript” between Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky. I read the whistleblower complaint. And I read the IG cover letter. By background, I spent 34 years dealing intimately with whistleblowers and protecting them. I spent 19 years in the United States Senate deeply involved in writing every prominent whistleblower law from 1983 to 2000. I then spent five years as Executive Director of the National Whistleblower Center, which helped write post-Enron corporate whistleblower laws, and defended numerous national security and other whistleblowers.

I have never seen a more buttoned-up set of whistleblower allegations than these.

To me, the whistleblower appears to have taken a leadership role, sticking his neck out to protect subordinates in the intelligence community while conveying their information to appropriate authorities through appropriate channels. It’s easy to see how the ICIG steered it to the Congressional Intelligence Committees, under the cover of great credibility, through a gauntlet of resisters.

In this one brief complaint, the whistleblower managed to do what the Mueller investigation could not: ensnare the President of the United States himself in a shameful abuse of his power. Trump held back military aid to Ukraine then asked Ukraine for “a favor” — to dig up/create dirt on a political rival for the forthcoming election.

Kris Kolesnik is a 34-year veteran of federal government oversight. He spent 19 years as senior counselor and director of investigations for Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa). Kolesnik then became executive director of the National Whistleblower Center. Finally, he spent 10 years working with the Department of the Interior’s Office of Inspector General as the associate inspector general for external affairs.

You really don't know anything, do you? Just Pavlovian musings; oh so desperately trying to sound coherent. A for effort, though.
