I had the same feeling the 1st I went back to it once they legalized it.
Although I had some previous experience from high school and understood that it was just my mind playing tricks on me and because I smoked wayyyy to much strong weed for my first time back LOL
2nd time I set boundaries and expectations. i.e. the high will peak for about 1 to 2 hours, then will start to wear off where after 4 hours it will go back to almost normal. I track the time as a safety net when needed. I make sure I complete all my responsibilities and that nobody is relying on me during the day. I lay out the things I need to do next week personally and for work and make sure I get back to normal life after the high wears off. i.e make sure I go to the gym 3 days per week. Then I set aside places to be and things to do. i.e I set up my playlist for youtube songs and set up my gaming so I can keep busy during the high. I make sure nobody bothers me who has no business knowing I am high. Then when all the safety nets are in place I let go and enjoy the ride and never again have I had this feeling.
2nd thing I do is control the dosage through the use of a vaporizer. You can get high off 0.1 g just from hitting that amount 6 to 8 times.
Post Weed management:
I notice that weed tends to enhance every aspect of your personality. So everything you do well you do even better like sex and make love or cook or sing or dance or poetry etc. Also the things you suck at will make it even worse. Like if you are lazy it will make you even more lazy. If you are a loser it will show you how big of a loser you actually are and might make you even worse now that you added weed into the loser mix.
I think once to learn to manage weed it is a powerful thing that enhances your being and gives you a unique perspective to explore and exploit. Like it unlocks your hidden potential.
You learn to manage and control it to the point that can you just let go without worrying then your experiences will be amazing.
Hard to explain but I felt totally insecure and all my inner phobias came to the surface. Felt I was in a tunnel. All I wanted to do was sleep it off. Tried to listen to music but did not help. Stone gradually went away. Did not feel safe to drive for 24 hours. Glad I was at home when I experimented as I needed to be alone.
Flushed my stash. I will never do it again.
