And this guy isn't actually claiming there are aliens
Bloodletting was a practice used by humans for thousands of years to prevent and cure illnesses.

We now know that this was a terrible way to treat illnesses, and we've developed better methods.

The problem (i.e. illnesses) still exist, but we have different methods of treating them (medicine).

Likewise we can learn from mistakes of the past or poor ways of treating problems to develop better ones.

The growing homeless and mental illness problem won't be solved by allowing for more tent cities to spring up or by ceding more territory to junkies.

These current methods are failing on an epic level. Doing more of the same is not a solution.

Are you actually interested in solving these problems?

La la land
AS I said
They tried it seem to be going well. In life there is up and down. We only notice the down and ugly never the beauty.
Maybe they should have ; and still can; change this by limiting the amount a person can take per month or week. And see how that works. IF that fails, they can still experiment, another procedure.

Like the RLD in Amsterdam.

Unfortunately, homelessness/refugees/asylum seekers is not unique to Toronto. Even that socialist paradise Sweden have them.

This is 12 pages, and I think we have covered this topic before.
Home less has been around since the beginning of time it's just quantity now.

Drug policy of Portugal

I met people who have gotten out of poverty. They became poor for various reasons. None of them because of drugs.
Portugal is not bordering with USA like Canada is which makes this a whole different game.
But you are right, something has to give….

The problem with the homelessness is that they are not simply without a home. Many have mental illness, drug use and alcoholism issues.

Ive seen a similar documentary about finland homeless solution.

interesting idea, but the problem is it has to be funded and I dont see a good return on investment. people do change but its very low and I for one like a decent return on my investment.

It's surprising that a little bit of publicity on homeless "refugees" gets a quick reaction from the Federal Government. But the people who have been homeless for a much longer time get sweet fuck all help from the Federal Government.

I guess refugees vote and the homeless don't.

In Japan, homelessness is seen as shameful as it it is the fault of the homeless . The homeless make it a point to try to be invisible. Which is all good, in my opinion.

just to hijack this thread even further, bro’ nature versus nurture! 😁
I have been fascinated by the nature vs nurture question all my life. And just when I think it is one or the other, something comes up to make me change my mind!

I LOVE this Ozzy Man Reviews guy and I found this Hallowe'en candy segment refreshing that the little girl knew what was right and wrong. I wonder how time is going to prove either way...

(The specific segment is where the youtube below starts

And what does any of this have to do with your posting why eugenics is a good thing?

Could it be that providing supports for hard working people to integrate into society is far easier than developing supports for people with significant public health issues?
