Home surveillance camera recommendations?

I'm gonna be gone for about a week, like to see whats going on while I'm gone. Any recommendation on a camera that could record everything while I'm gone?

Forget the name brand but i think Canada's computers might carry it...... you can choose cameras based on in or outdoors, night vision, resolution, zoom. You pick the camera and the digital recorder. You might even be able to get motion sensing. But it is not cheap.

An alternative is you can get on of those cams for watching babies. You can control it remotely and watch from a computer. This is cheaper but no recording.

I have two of the Amcrest ProHD units and love them. High quality and reliable.

Try dlink, I have a dcs5222l for indoor that pans and also the dcs2330l that I use for outdoor. Both can be sent up to record and send either email alerts upon motion detection with either a snapshot or videoclip. Quite happy with both so far
