Earth to fuji,...

You are clueless. In PA, WI and MI, the three states that decided the election, Trump won by a hair. Had 1 in 150 voters changed their vote then those three states would have gone Clinton and Clinton would have won.

Someday you will acknowledge the facts.
You sure like to "selectively" respond to posts.

1st,...,... "Clinton got more votes than Trump did",...and you know this how,...???

Again with the ifs, and maybes, and couldas,...be realistic fuji,...Hillary got beat by TRUMP,...she got beat by TRUMP,...it shouldn't have even been close.

Even you must understand that even including your if and maybes,...she lost big time,...and deserved to have.

Everyone knows Clinton won the popular vote. And won it by a LOT. By over a million votes now, and counting.

And while you may think it shouldn't have been close, it was very close. So close that Comey pushed the election over the line for Trump. He was losing before that. Shift 115k votes in PA, MI, and WI and Clinton would have won. It was that close.

Just to clue you in we're all discussing the 2016 election and what was said and done in it. A tweet from 2012 is not topical. Do you follow?
So what changed? The College is the topic, the College was "…a disaster for a democracy in 2012", and isn't now something must have changed.

If the College is the same now, then the change must be in Trump's thinking. Where winning the Presidency with a minority of the votes, 'trumps' any "disaster for a democracy" as long as the winner is him.

There you go taking a tweet from a private citizen 4 years ago literally again.

It's becoming a chore having to set you straight.
Are you suggesting Trump tweeted fantasies and fairy-tales without any basis in truth back then? So what changed? How can we tell when his tweets are made up meaningless nonsense we should ignore and when they're …, what? Dare I say, believable?

Your attempt at defence is digging the hole deeper. If we're not to take him at his word, the only other possibility is that his tweets are unconsidered, impulsive and stupid.

You want to entangle yourself in semantics, that's your prerogative.
Hiding in semantics is how you turn losing the vote into winning the election.

Trump will win the Presidency on December 19, if the Electors vote as pledged and predicted. Until then, he has won nothing.

Are you saying that in the past 4 years that Trump has become a different person? He said the electoral college is a disaster and that system hasn't changed in the slightest since 2012.

It's even worse that he's changed his opinion of the system simply because it provided him a benefit.

He tweeted a statement and then went about his business accepting the results. Likewise in 2016, regardless of his opinion of the electoral college, he accepted the results (in fact despite whatever his personal opinions are about the electoral college his strategy was to win it because he knows those are the rules).

Save your breathe. oldjones too. Neither of you are making any points or arguments worth typing.

Nonsense he was gearing up to say the election was rigged if he lost. Everybody knows what he said. You are in denial again.

You are a close personal friend of the Donald and he told you this? You closet conservative!!!!

Stick to the facts, not facts you make up based on what some liberal rag told you to think. Don't trust your ears, they seem to be failing you too as what you think you hear turns into some fairly ridiculous statements.

Trump repeatedly stated that he thought the election was rigged.
Do you think that he was lying when he said that?

Before the elections they were buying that "the elections are rigged" nonsense spewed out by Trump. So that is why they are going on about the 2012 Electoral College crap despite Obama also WINNING the popular vote. Yes winning that vote as well.

He tweeted a half dozen times calling the electoral college undemocratic and calling for massive protests. The only reason he 'went about his business' is that he realized his claims of Romney winning the popular vote were wrong.

Pretty sad joke (and very indicative of his personality) that he so enthusiastically changed his mind when it suits him.

You are NOT everybody.

Clinton did NOT win the popular vote,...How many times must you be told the same thing, it was a tie.

Question for YA,...do you know how long was the FBI investigation into Clinton going on,...???

And no,...it should not have been close fuji, her opposition was Donald Trump,...if you can't comprehend what that means,...there is no helping you.

Except it wasn't a tie. She won the popular vote by over a million votes. You have disconnected from reality.

Exactly, you can't get mad at democrats who took the word of the presidential elect and now believe that the system is rigged and the elections are now not just.
Seems that's exactly what Trump created.

If it was and still is a disaster, then it needs to be fixed, The Chief Executive would be the logical person to get that started. Of course he could have been lying, or mistaken when he said it was a disaster, and/or he could now be too pleased with his success at manipulating the 'disaster' for his own benefit (the sort of thing many would call 'rigging') that he wants to keep it around and use it again.

However I don't like the idea of a President so immoral, self serving and venal, mistaken about the obvious, or just a plain old liar, which is why I keep asking: What's his plan for fixing what he called a disaster for a democracy? I'm sorry if you don't think such a thing worth fixing (or even typing about) when the President does. But then there are those other options to explain the lack of concern.
--------------
PS: It might help if you tried to unhitch your attentions from trying to defend an election already decided days ago, and gave some thought — as a President-Elect must do — to the future. Fixing that 'rigged' system is the only way to ensure your guy isn't the one it trips up next.

Let me try this again.

In a moment of exasperation Trump tweeted his opposition to the thing that got Obama re-elected, which is the Electoral College. This does not mean that Trump fundamentally disagrees with the process or the role of the Electoral College. It means he was expressing his disappointment with Obama getting re-elected. It's what 99.9% of private citizens using twitter do at some point. They air their grief or feelings at any given moment. You need to stop taking every tweet a private person puts out literally.

Again this is 2012 private citizen Trump, not 2016 politician Trump running for office.

Of course its rigged, Hillary didn't win the popular vote legitimately. Those votes are a bunch of fakes, repeated, illegals and late ballots filled out AFTER Trump was elected.
Its the liberal establishment doing anything they can to look and feel like winners. The only vote Hillary won is the poopyliar vote.
