that is crap....vancouver is a tough skilled team who gave it all they had, but were beaten by a slightly tougher team with a hot goalie. The Bruins were actually an embarrassment to hockey with their after the whistle intimidation, waving fingers in the mouth and punching Sedin repeatedly.
let's evaluate the canucks, shall we...

round 1 - so many cheap shots on hawks players, especially on seabrook. disregarding that, after being up 3 game so none, they get blown out in chi-town 2 straight games, and have to have their pussy of a general manager, mike gillis, stand up and complain the ref's are not being fair. having said that, they were lucky to scrape by the hawks, who clearly suffered from the salary cap purge from last year. if ladd and bufyglien were still there, canucks would have been gone in the first round.

round 2 - more of the same from the canucks and whining about the ref's. too bad the preds do not have some game breaker's up front, or once again, the 'nucks are going hom.

round 3 - okay, they were better in this series, but that is not hard to do against a team with no heart.

round 4 - the fact that burrows bite a guy, does not get suspended, then goes out the next game and scores the OT winner. the hit on horton. the complete brainless comments from luongo, probably made to distract everyone from the fact he let his team down in all the games in beantown with his horrid goaltending. did anyone see the cheap shot on chara near the end of the first period in game 7? were the refs blind? nowhere near the puck and blindsided.

raffi torres is a complete meathead. this guy just comes out, and takes runs at players. yes, great tough, skilled player they 'nucks have there. burrows was very inconsistent the during the whole playoffs, and he had some pretty stupid moments as well.

so what were you saying about the bruins?

facts are facts, the canucks lack still in key areas..they have no heart outside of kesler, and even he is questionable at times. canucks ever win a cup with luongo in the nets, it will not be because of him. too many idiots...torres, burrows, bieksa, etc;, these guys take too many undisciplined penalties, way too selfish. and the sedin sisters, starting their summer vacation one round too early.

I guess some people failed to realize...Thomas kept Boston close in all 7 games...oh yeah Luongo kept his team close in 3.
You stand corrected. Thomas kept Boston close in 3 games. Luongo kept his team close in 3 games.

The other 4 games were a blowout by Boston, Thomas didn't have to keep it close.

Sorry but after knocking out Horton the Bruins were on a path for revenge. That was a deep first blood and to me that meant the Canucks weren't getting away with a Stanley Cup. I had my money on Boston before the series started anyway, that incident just bolstered my confidence in getting paid off.
Sure.....they were lucky to barely beat the habs in 7th game overtime after Chara almost killed Pachoretti (putting his head into a stanchion and ending his season). I guess that was ok with those of you who see everything thru a black and yellow filter.

Chara almost killed Pachoretti (putting his head into a stanchion and ending his season).
That has as much relevance as thug Canuck Bertuzzi ending Steve Moore's career. He obviously established the future character of the franchise.
