The sisters went home to Sweden, before the series started, to watch it on TV.

Who was the bigger flop in the finals?

Lebron James or the Sedins?
I would say it has to be the Sedin sisters, because there are two of them and they both flopped. :thumb:

one or both of them may have been hiding injuries and attempting to play thru them

The same could be said of every player on each team.

Ya, the entire Vancouver team were playing without their balls, spine and guts. They were an embarrassment to NHL hockey.
that is crap....vancouver is a tough skilled team who gave it all they had, but were beaten by a slightly tougher team with a hot goalie. The Bruins were actually an embarrassment to hockey with their after the whistle intimidation, waving fingers in the mouth and punching Sedin repeatedly.

The canucks were not saints either, with the same things, diving, elbow to the head of Chara, both teams were dirty.

The referee's set the tone early last night by not calling anything. Players from both teams just kept pushing the envelope. Some of the antics we saw were horrible. Players have no respect for one another and it clearly shows in the games.

Luongo gets hit by a Bruin during warm ups? No class at all. Don Cherry was right, in past years that would have ignited an absolute donnybrook.

Personally, the playoffs dragged on way to long. Unless you were cheering for one of the teams playing you were doing other things. The NHL really needs to look at this.

Sorry but after knocking out Horton the Bruins were on a path for revenge. That was a deep first blood and to me that meant the Canucks weren't getting away with a Stanley Cup. I had my money on Boston before the series started anyway, that incident just bolstered my confidence in getting paid off.

That's just plain dumb. If the goalies were switched around, so would the final score.
Oh, I do not think so
Boston completely outplayed Vancouver in game 7 (Over the whole series)
It was not just down to the goalies
Boston forwards were backchecking and forechecking extremely well and they did a great job of clogging up Vancouver's passing lanes
Thomas was great , however his defensemen limited the number of second chance shots to a handful.

Vancouver is fortunate it went 7 games and would it have been done in 4 or 5 if not for Luongo

Your statement is factually incorrect
either
a)you did not pay attention to the game played or
b) you do not understand the game

I guess some people failed to realize...Thomas kept Boston close in all 7 games...oh yeah Luongo kept his team close in 3.

Oh please....Kesler, Burrows, Bieksa, Edler...were the experts at it too...and Boston took them off their game by doing it. And when the Sedin's were touched they would fall like flys.

Thomas did not just stop pucks!

He inspired..with his mini fight..and the great smile after!!

But the best was when SEDIN approached his crease...Thomas did not back off..but went straight forward and threw a devastating body check..landing SEDIN on his ass!!!

But I do give the SEDINS credit...they took a huge lump of responsibiltiy....claiming it was their line that was there to score and they did not score...they put it quite simply and rightly!!

How could they not? It would have been stupid for them to deny any responsibility. They however didn't go far enough. They are supposed to be the leaders of the team, the one with the "C" anyway, and they/he let Marchand treat him like the pussy he is. I cannot believe Iginla would have let that happen to him. Furthermore, any of the other players on or off the ice allowing their Captain to be treated like that is beyond me, so it is team wide as far as I am concerned. Guys like Torres and that Hansen are back stabbing cheapshot artists, instead of manning up and facing down any of the Bruins. It was a pathetic display and they were not worthy of winning nor did they deserve to. Just to add, I heard the coaches comments on CBC after the game and his smarmy remark about Boston's tactics of hitting after the whistle was a bullshit thing to say from a coach trying to explain how he was humiliated. So it sounds like the problem is top down. I had a feeling part way through the series that the strategy of the Canunts was to provoke Boston into penalties and then kill them with their world best PP. Whatta joke! The Bruins PP worst next to the Leafs turned out to be the better one!
You cannot sit back and let the Cup come to you, you have to go out and fight for it!

Well said Dave. First they would not have done that to Iginla because Iginla would fight back.
I would have liked to see Torres get into it with McQuaid, that kid(McQ) can fight, as anyone who follows the OHL would know.
The Canucks diving was embarrassing and the only thing worse was Hughson and the color guy trying to convince the viewers that it was acceptable.

Although the Canucks were the better team on paper they choked plain and simple.
You need to show up to every game not just 3. A professional can overcome they did not. Add up all the goals for the Bruins got and how many they let in and do the same for the Canucks either way Canucks just sucked and blew it.
