"Baptismal certificate", "Certificate of live birth", "Birth certificate", the US constitution has nothing to say on the subject and does not care. It simply says that someone has to be a "natural born" American in order to run for President. In Hawaii the proof that you are a natural born Hawaiian is called a certificate of live birth. That is up to the Hawaiians and their sovereign State to decide, not up to you, and not up to the US Federal Government.

LOL. Hang on, this "certificate of live birth", which is not a birth certificate, is very close in time to when Hawaii was not a US State. The US Constitution has a lot to say on the subject......read it. Obama apparently has not (as a constitutional professor, mind you) if all copyrights and trademarks are being infringed instantaneously, when unemployment is at 10% at the very same time in the USA. Shameful, to use his words.

Ditto if there is no proof of being a natural US Citizen. Why such a long wait to see anything on the subject?

All I could find was this: "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President".

In the sovereign State of Hawaii you are a natural born citizen if you have a certificate of live birth.

you have to be a natural born citizen. which means as long as you are a citizen, were born vaginally and own a handgun- you can be president

I'm not sure but I think proof of birth in a state , is not federal jurisdiction, it is up tot he state. So if the state of Florida issued birth records on orange peels, then that would be fine.
