I was just looking out the back patio window thinking that I should likely pull the patio umbrellas down and lay them on the ground.

Even if all we get is a line of strong winds at the front of a storm, it still can make a mess of the patio furniture when the furled umbrella still tips the table over.

No, we are just 3 days into them. I understand there is major flooding all over southern Ontario. I saw that Premier Doug Ford has called out the army to help sand bag and save madonnalove/grace sparks/miami whatever's place. He doesn't think it is a 'wastage' .

I kid your not the app I downloaded that everyone recommended because it saved lives during Barries Tornado had 12 days of thunderstorms posted I showed my best friend we laughed til our belly hurt .it seemed so unreal . But tomorrows the day its hitting so stay safe everyone they are predicting tornadoes again.

I can't take this hot, humid, heavy air any longer. I think I'll go visit my friend in Arizona (like Paul Henderson did) where the air is dry.

LOL. I'd rather have this weather than a foot of snow & cold sub zero temps. But I do agree, we need a couple of days of a good slow rainfall.
