Secretly change or put another digit on the address or buzz code.
I write down the phone/street/suit numbers backwards, and I make the street address cryptic. 416-822-3921, 104 Yonge, Suite 239 (a made up address btw) becomes 12932284, 401Yng S932. (Note the 416 just became 4, and 647 becomes 6). I'll put an abbreviation for the name if I need one, so "Carol" might become "cl". Good enough for me to remember what it is later, impossible for anyone to figure out.... well except now anyone reading terb :)

That's classic and almost as good as the guy who used to keep his secret numbers posted in the underground parking garage.

Your place!!
I'm always writing things down on a scratch pad, from phone calls messages etc so addresses and the like are easy to pass off.

I think you're fucked.

The ohly thing I can think of is if you can find that note and replace it with a dummy.

Or, start leaving more such notes around with such things as fitness clubs, therapists, financial planners and what not.

I do the same type of thing. Anytime there's a zero, I just put in a dash, and if it's a double number, I'll underline the number. (and I do the same thing with the 416/647/905 becoming 4/6/9)

So what I'd do if say the number is 416-822-3901, I'll write down 4-82 (2 underlined) 39-1 Or just make something look like a price even. #4. $82.23 $90.1 But never write things down as they actually are - NEVER!!!!

And by the way....good luck with this. We'll all keep our fingers crossed that she forgets about it. If not, don't make a big issue of it or else she'll get even MORE curious. Say you were looking to buy a car / motorcycle / computer / Maple Leaf tickets or something - maybe for this past Valentines Day or upcoming birthday??? I dunno, but good luck nonetheless!
