Heard John Derringer talking about this this morning on Q107.

To all the Led Zeppelin fans out there (and even those who "don't know") this is an incredible rendition of Stairway to Heaven.

Jason Bonham on Drums, Dave Grohl, Lenny Kravitz

Boy I wish Robert Plant would agree to a tour. I was too young to have ever seen Led Zeppelin back in the day.

An awesome rendition by Heart, didn't they start out as a Zep cover band, just absolutely amazing with the orchestra, back up singers and the choir. Bravo. :clap2:

And Gonzo jr. on the kit made that song/tribute perfect.

That was fantastic. The guy beside Jimmy Paige had tears in his eyes and Jimmy seemed to enjoy what he was hearing.

The guy beside Jimmy Page with tears in his eyes was Robert Plant. How cool would it be to get a standing O from Led Zeppelin for covering them?
Awesome!

I've seen Robert Plant twice in concert in the 80's and 90's, post Zeppelin.

Led Zeppelin is a run down band. Who cares.

What I want to know is, will Rush perform at their induction into the RockNRoll Hall of Fame?

They were the first heavy metal band. Paige still ranks as one of the world's great guitarists along with Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton.
Nancy Wilson used to be smoking hot back in the day.

Saw Heart live a few years ago and a looong time ago ( ahem ) they've always done led zep covers but I think this is one if my fav's. Ann Wilson has often been called a female Robert Plant and is as close as you can get to the real thing. Super talented sisters.
There's a YouTube video of her doing a cover of black dog in 2002 that's also outstanding.... Can't link to it...I'm on my phone. Will post it later on.

Zepparella is almost a great Zep cover band. They just need to find a proper lead singer......

The link above has the best vocalist to date and that is not even the current line-up.
