Folks,

Just a heads up on Isabel. Seen her ads a while back and decided to try...Texting was fine, sweet and professional. Booked a time and when I got to location things took an ugly turn. After informing her I arrived, she texted me "sorry, but are you white?" ...I knew her add said "no black, no Indian gents"...I told her I wasn't black nor Indian, but wasn't white either (mixed heritage/non-white). She then says "I can't see you". Wtf?? This was a first for me so took me by surprise. I know providers often write "no black gents" on ads for various reasons (and thats a whole other thread),.but this never happened to me so threw me off.. I asked her for her reason and she just ghosted me after. Anyways, buyer beware for all "non-white" brothers out there....I understand providers can choose to meet/not meet anyone they want, but man it felt rather discriminatory to experience this first hand (especially in 2020)....anyone have a similar experience with her (or other providers), do share..or maybe we need a thread "Providers who only see white clients" lol?

Her add :

Her ad did not say "only white clients" so many clients' time she wasted in this manner. told them she does not see clients of their backgrounds after they reach their location. similar thing happened to me in 2007. after 2 hours of transit i called saying i am at the intersection and she asked my for my background and say she does not see clients of my background.

Racism is ugly and has no place in today's world.

To label someone a racist without knowing why someone has chosen not to see specific ethnic groups is premature their are maybe unknown factors why.

Her body her choice.

Why would you waste your time or place yourself in a situation where the outcome was almost predictable? You should have let her know your background before booking and going to the location.

This is no fault of the said provider. You should have followed her request and found a provider that meets your needs. You would have saved yourself the aggravation.

Your situation although the result was the same, you where not aware of restrictions.

The op did say he was aware of her restrictions and still booked her knowing she did not see specific ethnic groups. Not the same situation.

Perhaps you should file a complaint with the Canadian Human Rights Commission and get her escorting licence revoked...assuming the woman in those photos is even the girl you'd actually be seeing...

This ain't exactly the most reliable business. Better than half the ads on LL are either fake pics or scams.

I wouldn't even bother contacting this girl based on the fact that she has "no black no indian" in her ad profile. The fact that she even has that written means she's racist and that's a red flag for me right off the bat.

Why would you even bother trying to book with her in the first place?

It sucks that she wasted your time but her body her choice. Maybe she sees her job as a paid dating avenue :) Maybe she's looking for Richard Gere from Pretty woman lol

I don't think she's necessarily a racist for not seeing certains races or ethnicities. I'm not racist but I have my preferences and I couldn't get intimate with someone I'm not attracted to.

On the positive side, she saved your money being spent on a lame session. I wish some providers had saved my time and money by not seeing me, so I could have spent it on better experiences or things.

I'd move on, plenty of ladies who are open minded and fun to be with. Thanks for sharing. Better luck next time.

I remember there was a thread here about the pro's and cons of excluding black people in ads.. It became quite agitated.

Labeling a SP as racist may be premature.
Those words sure looks racist in some ads, other SPs may have their reasons. Who am I to judge if a reason is good or not? Ads containing those words are not common around here. but it's seen a lot more often in cities I've often mongered in like Miami or Philly. Why? Beats me. I asked a few why they posted that, and reasons varied.

It basically boils down to the nature of the business. A SP is in an environment where she will be naked and having sex with a client. A SP refusing to deal with a certain race cannot be compared to a bar server refusing to sell a beer to someone of another race

It's very complicated. I've seen a black SP who put "No Blacks, please"... wtf?
Does that make her a racist who doesn't want to deal with her own race?

.

Here is my problem: ads that state “no black” often include phrases like “no pimps”, “no thugs” or other such derogatory statements lending one to believe that these are synonymous with “black”.

I have no problem with ones preferences. We all have them. I prefer spinners therefore will seldom book with larger providers so that is a preference. I don’t assume larger woman means anything other than that.

I wholeheartedly agree that ones preferences do not always equate with racism. I do take umbrage with juxtaposing other negative terms with the colour of ones skin and that, IMO, is racist.

Until we make that distinction as a society we will never deal with the real issues surrounding racism.
To bring this back on topic, anyone providing a service is free to do so with whomever they choose just as it is my prerogative to seek services from whomever I choose. The fact that there are those who will assume I will not be a good or bad client purely based on my ethnicity is sad. For those providers who would not want to see me because I have the ability to deal with the sun’s rays more efficiently than others and decide that my money is not worth their time, fair play. Please continue to let me know this through your ads so as not to waste that hard earned money. I will continue to seek out those a little more open minded to the fact that the vast majority of POC are not thugs and pimps, they will continue to benefit from my patronage, and life will go on.

Just my 18 cents.

You’re off base on this one. The ad said no lack and no Indian, and the OP is neither.

why is it his fault that he assumed that he would also be excluded? The provider is definitely at fault. If you only want to see white people, justsay so in your ad?

why does the client have to try to predict what background will be accepted?

I find the whole “no black no pimps” thing disgusting and transparent but whatever. I guess I should start seeing the world the same way.

If I'm off base, someone's out in space.

Read again, my post was not targeting the OP's particular situation.

I was generally talking about putting those words in an ad.

This is my last reply in this thread.

No that not mean she's racist. I once saw an asian MA that didn't want to see asian. Do you think it is because she's racist ?

MA/SP may have many reasons for their restrictions and it is their own right to have them and you should respect that and not try to push them.

Same apply to other restrictions and peoples that try to push them once they are with the lady...

It is their body, it is their choice...

The original poster is of mixed race wich he did not tell us what races. He did tell her and she denied him service. My simple brain deduced that he must fall within her restrictions.

Her choice !

Go see someone else.
Yes of course its her choice. That's so far from the point its not worth mentioning. The point is he wasted his time going all the way there to get denied with a restriction which was not previously disclosed. Could you imagine the uproar on this board if the race restrictions included no white men, and they showed up and were denied at the door?

There are plenty of providers that will see people of colour. That's not the point. The point is that OPs time was completely disrespected because he didn't know he had to be white like something out of the deep US south in the 1950's. "bUt hEr ChOice" Ya we get that. Then put your restrictions in your ad or texts.
