We've all experienced a situation in our lives at least once where you encounter an entirely vapid and intellectually uninteresting young woman. I think many would agree, there's a difference between girls who are hot because of their looks and those who are super hot because of both looks and attitude. Something tells me we aren't going to see the these types performing when they're 50 or 60. Why, because they aren't true talents. I'm sure it doesn't really matter to most kids today but I like the fact that the musicians I grew up with (many who are still playing and still draw big audiences) are still rockin' today.
I may be wrong, but I feel the lifespan of the majority of today's "artists" is going to be relatively short lived (comparatively speaking) and as kids age, they'll be less likely to follow them into their later years. I suppose many will find alternative choices to follow. Hope so, because so much of what kids are listening to now is crap, IMHO.
I grew up with the Stones, Cream, Rush, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, ELP, Simon & Garfunkel, Supertramp, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, AC/DC, The Who, Genesis, CSN&Y and the list goes on. Most are still alive and sound great to this day. Can't imagine the same will happen for the likes of Miley and Justin... I could wrong though!
