Hopefully this ends the current conflict but I have next to no hope that we aren’t right back in the same place in 10-20 years from now.

Its not going to happen, Hamas already said it doesn't agree with most of the proposal. They're suicidal Muslim terrorists, they'll never give up, just look how they used their own citizens as human shield. Nobody is going to stand for them to keep their weapons.

Israel is less trustworthy than trump.
They are still bombing Lebanon and Syria, despite supposed ceasefires.
They are threatening war with Yemen and Iran again.
And worse, they are paying off american politicians and screwing them over too.

Given a choice between the US, Israel or other western countries, I would pick them over suicidal Muslim terrorists that glorify martyrdom.

I am wondering if there are any betting on when and how many (iof any) hostages will be released and how many of them as corps. I am serious, there must be some betting going on, maybe even legal, I would really love to know the odds. Hamas is like Putin: they say one thing but do another.
